Purchased the JVX160 pool pump less…

Purchased the JVX160 pool pump less than 5 years ago and I have had issues every since (VERY BAD DECISION). on 3/5/2024 contacted Leslie's to have a service person come out to repair the pump again because it is leaking and had to turn the pump off. The sent out Eric, who looked at the pump and said the seal (part# 40678) needed to be replaced and it was NOT under warranty. He needed to order the part, ok rescheduled for 3/12, got a call from dispatcher stating that Eric was hurt and that they would have to re-schedule another time/day and another technician. Keep in mind, our pool has not been running due to the leak. Finally got a date/time of 3/15 they sent out Ivan who does NOT have any clue what is going on with the pool and says that NOW the pump needs a propeller (part#677742) and we can order it on Amazon and when it is in we can scheduled for someone to install it. My STRONG advise, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER purchase, go to, or request ANYTHING from Leslie's Pool. You get bad equipment, faulty warranty and just plan out BAD service!!!!!

The worst company ever

The worst company ever! Don’t ever use this company. I order a spa cover. It took six months for delivery and it was the wrong size. I called and they refused to accept it was their error and finally after showing my order sheet they agreed and sent me another one. And yes, it was the wrong size again. This company sucks on all levels. Go direct to the spa manufacturer for a spa cover. Terrible quality as well. DONT DO IT EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU WILL SAVE MONEY - you will not in the end. I promise you.

Father time took over my Polaris parts rdered a specific part number for…

Ordered a specific part number for Polaris brand pool jets. The package that came was sealed, had the exact part number but looked like it had been on several different dusty warehouse shelves since the 1980's. The parts inside were so brittle that little pieces of plastic were like white chalky dust that had broken off just due to age. And, they were definitely not the current part numbered parts nor did they come with the parts advertised. Leslie's...you can do better than this!

I would like to give a shutout to two…

I would like to give a shutout to two employees of store #252 in Phoenix. Both manager David and Asst. Manager Nate give me the best customer service. I needed replacement parts for my Hayward sand filter and they order them for me and when the parts arrived I brought them to the store and Nate even put them together for me and carried the parts out to my car. I have been a customer at this store for many years and as I am 80 years old I really appreciate service like this.

Never purchase from Leslie’s pools

Never purchase from Leslie’s pools. I placed order cancelled same day. They refused to take my return. I drove 45 minutes to return to store. Rude customer service. I requested to return to ship back also refused. It is obvious why they did not cancel order and shipped any way. Bad business and customer service. Done purchase from this company

They don't answer their phones (they used to). I called bother the Poughkeepsie NY and the Danbury CT stores two days in a row and nobody answers.

I like to give the Brick and Mortar companies my business but with customer service like this I'll just use Amazon.

I purchased and had Leslie's install a RayPak pool heater on Dec 2, 2021. It's now June 15, 2022 and the heater still does not work after multiple attempts at repair. Often Leslie's cancels schedule service with no explanation.

Can't believe their prices in…

Can't believe their prices in comparison to places like Walmart and Amazon they are 50-60% higher. I'd rather you put the whole inventory online and shut all the stores than try to rip me off to pay your overhead. I saw how much they charge for a pool pump and did a complete 180 degree turn right out of there.

The Leslies Pool Mart Service team and the warranties that they provide are completely worthless.

I scheduled an appointment in Mid May to come take a look at my pool heater that I purchased the year before. It was still under warranty. They had to come out for 3 different visits and after 3 visits, 6+ weeks later, the service tech says he spoke to his manager and his manager, Doug Haggard out of Tennessee, just told him he has only ever had 2 heaters replaced due to manufacturers defects in his 27 years at Leslie’s!!!

Why after 6 weeks am I just hearing this and why would a warranty be provided if ONLY 2 in 27 years have been replaced under warranty!?

This takes poor service to another level. Just infuriating.

The off shore call center makes it…

The off shore call center makes it close to impossible to get good service.
We had an appointment with a window of 9-noon. Noone showed up. We were not notified of a delay. We phoned to reschedule and were not given a new appointment. Are they going out of business? We will have a local pool repair company help us with our pool needs going forward.

Update, the repair person showed up last week B.T.W. he is very knowledgeable and great at his job, wenjust didn’t know he was coming. The call center just went ahead and booked him and didnt let us know. Thank goodness we were home.

St. Petersburg Store is the WORST

Don't go to this store. The old hag that claims she owns the store is a moron and has no business advising people on how to fix their pool chemistry. She is rude and unhelpful. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone knows she's the owner, normally that would be fine but this old lady sucks at her job. She conned me into buying chemicals that I didn't need and had the stupidity to try and tell me the chlorine tabs are not chlorine at all. God forbid you challenger her, here comes the attitude. She has no business interaction with consumers. I can't express more, don't spend your money at the location.

Rude, Uninformed, High Prices

Nobody knows anything about their products. Prices are UNBELIEVABLY higher than other pool supply stores for the same products. Shopped Federal Hwy. store in Fort Lauderdale. Rude customer service, sort of like, "Take it or leave it." Then the guy I dealt with had the audacity to try and cross sell me on pool service.

spent over 10K on Omni Logic with sense and dispense and nothing but trouble with Leslies. I cannot open my pool with them without any response. They cannot call me back or schedule for months. Online says sorry and code they give you is meaningless. Please just shut down Chapter 11 if things are that bad!!! The Philippines call center! Do not waste your time- Warrantee- forget it they don't have people or parts. Have been unable to manage local store or service. They do not value, valuable customers at all!!!!!

Leslie’s corporate has made some bad choices

14 years I have had Leslie’s close my pool. Corporate switched to an off shore call center for service appointments and product calls and it is terrible. They screwed up my closing date request and they couldn’t care less. Now I am scrabbling to get it closed as my chemicals have all been added and it is ready now, not in 3 weeks. I call corporate and they couldn’t give two hoots either. Local store is often out of products I purchase as well and the whole business has fallen into a ho hum attitude. They have lost me as a customer.

If I could only give them 0 star

I scheduled installation of a water purifier, which was cancelled twice. The first time the technician "couldn't make it", and I was told on the day having spent my morning waiting. The second time I didn't get a call, they cancelled days ago and didn't even bother to tell me. I recommend you find another company to service your pool

I placed an order online for a $1200 filter and paid for overnight shipping. 2 days later when I had not received the filter I called customer service and had to wait 38 MINUTES on hold for a rep to answer. Was told that this item is shipped via freight carrier and the option to ship overnight online is a "SYSTEM ERROR". I was advised it would be another 7-10 days before the item shipped. What a waste of valuable time for me. I have heard from several people of their horrible experiences with Leslie's Pool - their online shop, their pool technicians and their general customer service. IT'S ALL TRUE!! Do yourself a favor and find another pool company who is honest and can be depended on and care about taking care of their customers. Leslie's Pool is NOT that company.

Bought Air Relief Valve ECX1322A (Item…

Bought Air Relief Valve ECX1322A (Item 44007) for $12.49 + tax. This is a little plastic screw on top of the filter case to bleed the air after cleaning the cartridge. Probably it’s worth $0.30 to $ 0.50. Our filter is from 2005, the first time we had to replace this bleed screw was in 2018, it was made of Nylon, unbreakable. Since then we had to replace it 5 times, it looks like they switched to cheap plastic, the last screw lasted about a month. I took it back to the store in Apache Junction and the rude answer of the clerk was “there is no warranty on this part”. This was the last time I ever bought anything from Leslie’s, hopefully they get out of business, I never see any customers in this store.

Since they don’t offer the nylon screw anymore and expect customers to buy a new one every month or two, we went to Ace Hardware and bought a stainless steel screw for $2.75 (3/8“ x 16) it does it’s job.

Leslie's Pool Supplies is coming through for us!

We submitted a review (poor review) of Leslie's Pool Supplies in Quakertown, Pa. due to issues with a defective Hot Tub about 2 weeks ago. The company who makes the Hot Tub (Dreammaker) did not honor any warranty whatsoever - (Dreammaker) ignores the customers calls and emails to get help with repairs and then and then we were forced to make the repairs ourselves, they refused to pay, "saying we didn't contact them first". We tried for 5 weeks, and no one answered phone or returned calls or emails. When we reached out to Leslie's corporate, they said they'd help us and they did not initially help us. After much determination, we were finally given a good outcome. Today we received word that Leslie's will reimburse us for the money we spent to repair the Hot Tub. They are agreeing to honor the warranty that Dreammaker refused to honor. So, for now, we want to be sure to give a positive shout out to Leslie's for (finally) stepping up to handle this matter. It took much longer than it should have, but we respect that they are going to now help us. Right now, we still have to wait to receive the reimbursem*nt, but we wanted to inform people of this. If you ever have a problem like this, go to the corporate side of Leslie's to get assistance. Overall, we are now satisfied with the outcome ( as long as the check still comes our way). Thank you, Leslie’s Pool Supplies!
