I have been specifying sherwin Williams paints asa designer literally for decades! The main reason isthat the fan deck iseasier touse then most others onthe market. Gradations between colors are subtle and colors are beautiful, rich and sophisticated. Ihave favorites such as“shoji white” for trim Iuse asstandards. Ipersonally can’t live without some “opaline” inFlorida Iused “sea salt” asthe light was stronger
Lately “alpaca” has become aclients favorite. Inthe past “city loft” was popular, also “misty” and “pale peony”
Decades ago there was anamazing color called “pale artichoke”
So many fantastic colors and somany more opportunities touse them.
The quality ofthe paints isgreat and the staff are super friendly. Ienjoy working with Cindy and the 8×10 paint samples are very helpful when trying out colors before making afinal commitment!

Cannot dopaint byquart even ifyou bring your own empty cans. Will only dopaint bygallon and noETA for when they expect tohave availability insmaller sizes. They told mea could buy agallon and put itinto the size Ineed— missing the point. Janovic paint store down the street can doany size you need.

Many painting accessories onsale. Knowledgeable staff. Can mix custom colors with programmable machine. I'm not anexpert onthe actual paint quality compared toother brands but has held upfine forme. Rarely does astain set into the paint that cannot bewiped off with ageneral purpose cleaner.

From myexperience with theW. 21st Street store, the associate was sohonest with meas the light grey paint had abluish tint toit and advised meto choose the color from Benjamin Moore and bring itback asSherwin Williams paint isbetter and Benjamin Moore had more vibrant colors and that was soTRUE. The paint was fabulous and look like light gray without the bluish tint toit. Iam beyond satisfied and went back and bought more paint. This ismy 3rd time buying paint from Sherwin Williams and Iam thrilled. Great customer service.… – show
