Costco That’s It Mini Fruit Bars Review (2024)

With only two ingredients and no added sugar, the That’s It Fruit Bars at Costco are the perfect on the go snack!I absolutely love fruit bars, but unlike their name says, many fruit bars have added sugar and bad ingredients.

So I am always on the lookout to find healthy, but great tasting fruit bars or fruit snacks. I have actually passed by these a few times already.I thought that they looked so good but just never purchased them.

I also like that each of the mini fruit bars are individually wrapped. This makes it the perfect snack to just grab on the go and toss some in your purse, or your kids lunch.

Taste

I don’t know why, but I was expecting these fruit bars to be like most other fruit bars that I have had in the past.I thought they would be a lighter color, and have a smoother consistency. When I opened the first one up, I was honestly quite surprised. The fruit bar had a darker color than I expected. It also had chunks of lighter colors.

To be honest, when I first tried all three flavors of the fruit bars, I was not impressed. I didn’t really love them because they had chunks of what I believe is the peel of the fruit inside the bars.

I also didn’t love the taste. They were just so different than what I was expecting.Since I had such a big bag and I didn’t want them to go to waste, I have been eating them and now I actually enjoy them.

I think that it is just a taste and consistency that you have to get used to. They are very different from other fruit bars, but now that I know what to expect I really like them. Now I just wish that I could get my kids to like them!

Out of the three flavors in the bag, my favorite is the Mango. My next favorite is the strawberry followed by the blueberry.

That’s It Fruit Bar Flavors

Like I said before, Mango is my favorite out of all the flavors. This is no surprise to me as I tend to love anything Mango.

Mango Fruit Bar

The Mango flavors ingredients are simply Mangos and Apples.I love that the Mango slightly tastes like the fruit and a little bit like apples, but it isn’t too much of a fruity flavor. Just the perfect amount. Here you can see what the Mango fruit bar looks like:

Strawberry Fruit Bar

I was surprised that strawberry was my second favorite of the flavors because I tend to not really love strawberry flavored stuff. The ingredients for this flavor are just strawberries and apples. So you can taste just a little bit of each. Here you can see what the Strawberry fruit bar looks like:

Blueberry Fruit Bar

While the blueberry fruit bar was my least favorite, it was still very good!Just like the other two flavors, this one also is made with apples. So the ingredients include apples and blueberries so you can taste a little bit of both. Here you can see what the Blueberry fruit bar looks like:

Nutrition

One thing that I love about these fruit bars is that they have no added ingredients. If you look under the nutrition information under ingredients it is just fruit (and that’s it!). Here is the full nutrition information for each of the flavors.

About the That’s It Company

I love to learn more about the companies that are behind products I purchase. So I checked out their website to see what information I could find. Here is a screen shot with a little bit more information about their company. It basically talks about making real plant foods without anything extra added.

I also discovered that they have many other flavors of fruit bars available on their website. Including figs, cherries, cranberries, bananas and more.I also spotted the same 24 count bag for sale on their website for $19.99.Since I only paid $13.99 USD at my local Costco, it was $6 cheaper to buy them from Costco!

Final Thoughts

If I would have written this review right after trying them, it wouldn’t have been so good.I am so glad that I tried them a few more times because I can now honestly recommend them and I will be purchasing in the future.

My favorite thing about the mini fruit bars is that they are made with simple ingredients and only contain 60 calories each. They are the perfect healthy sweet snack that helps you to also get some extra fruits in for the day.

If you love fruit snacks or bars and are looking for a one without all the bad ingredients that you will find in some of the brands, then you should really give these a chance.

Just try them a few times before making up your mind. The taste and consistency might grow on you like they did me!
