Good pricing, nice relaxing chairs. Staff keeps theatre looking clean all the time. Offers senior ticket prices. Plenty of snacks. Can get in quick. Good amount of restaurants near theater if you want to go somewhere after. More than safe to bring your children.

Please stop hiring millennials .. I'm not expecting a smile or even a greeting these days but not encountering the entitled know-it-all attitude would be nice. Man some of your younger kid workers wouldn't know a respectful pleasant attitude if it hit them in the face .. otherwise a good experience.

Went here for my second try to see the new Avatar movie. Everything send the same except for the hospitality. They have stepped it up in s big way. From the box office to the concession stand to the ushers. Everyone was very nice and professional. I'll be visiting more often from now on.

It's always nice to go to Cinemark, I do however hope that they reinstate their refills for large soda and large popcorn, the prices are still on par with other theaters, but they still will not let us get refills on popcorn or soda. Now before the movie starts they have about 40 minutes combined of advertisem*nts and previews and by the time that's done so is your popcorn and soda :-) other than that the theater is always clean and the employees are always nice

We were told that all the seats were taken in upper seats and the only seats were in the front two rows. So we took seats in the second row. After 30 minutes into the movie I noticed that there was a lot of empty seats in the upper seats.Some computer needs to be reprogrammed. Should have just moved I know.

Excellent excellent excellent. Staff is super friendly and kind and patient. The movie theaters are very clean and comfortable. The reclining seats very comfortable and wonderful. I saw three movies in one day. And they were great. Also very nice restaurants 5 minutes or less away from the theater

Went for the matinee of Oppenheimer and the theater was great. It has very comfortable, leather, reclining seats. Concessions were pretty reasonably priced, at least the drinks were. The screen and the sounds were crisp while looking/sounding great during our movie. The theater was also well staffed and quite clean. Ample parking as well.

They offer 2 types of popcorn: Orville Redenbacher kettle popcorn or butter popcorn. They also offer a party room with private movie screening to host birthday parties. We had an Addams family themed party for Halloween weekend. A full bar clean facility with abundant social distancing protocol. All the staff offered friendly customer service and were dressed in movie costumes. They were too cute and rolled out the red carpet for all the movie goers. Good times had by all.

Pretty nice theater, wish they had some bigger theater options like a large theater with XD for some of the bigger blockbuster movies. Would prefer driving to Jess Ranch than going to the mall. They have concessions delivery which is convenient to order ahead and skip the lines. Especially being a movie club member and already using the app anyways. Only real gripe is cleanliness. Came here for a 10:20 showing and unfortunately our seats were covered with popcorn and trash and the restroom wasn’t much better. Staff is always friendly and offers help if needed.

We stopped here on our way to Vegas. It is free. The staff is very welcoming. We got many souvenirs from there at very affordable prices. The place has so much history to show. Kids loved the cars displayed there. There is also a train station just opposite to the museum. Luckily kids got to see two trains during the visit.

Must visit this place, the staff is so friendly and show the kids what was used prior to electronics, a phone, so awesome. My family had a blast, a nice visit for sure!! Three rooms to explore....

Great place for families and friends to go to. From outside looking in it seems like a small place, but it's huge when you get inside. There are 3 room full of antiques, photos, books, etc. The main room has merchandise/souvenirs. FYI they are close Monday to Wednesday.

California Route 66 MuseumRoute 66 Victorville, CaliforniaFebruary 2022We visited the California Route 66 Museum last year and we decided to revisit the Museum once again this year on our latest road trip. The reason for this trip was to actually see more of the Museum and see more of the displays. Our previous trip was more of a Photographic trip. There is always something you miss or probably didn't see on a previous visit. This was the case. We looked more into the old photos to learn more about the history. Thankfully we had some much needed help from several of the volunteers such as Delvin Roy Harbour and Benita Morgan-Bushop. There was one other volunteer at the museum but unfortunately I did not get her name. Delvin showed us some older photos and what building were there at that time period. It was fantastic looking at these photos and listening to its history. Of course we still manage to take lots of photos in the museum..The Museum is a great place to visit. There are lots of photo opportunities especially for selfies or with family and friends. Take a seat in The VW bus or take a photo by the classic car or even take a photo in front of the Victorville Outhouse. With several rooms and displays you can learn so much about this Route 66 Town and history. The museum also has a gift shop with great merchandise. We have added a few photos of the merchandise in this post.We definitely will be returning in the near future. It's a fun place to visit with great volunteers and lots of fun things to see.

The volunteers here are so personable and interesting! They've got so much knowledge of the area and the history, it was a joy to speak with everyone today!

It is located along the way that we must pass, so we decided to stop by and take a look. It turned out to be absolutely amazing! The staff welcomed us warmly, and we learned so much about the history of Route 66 and experienced the true essence of a road trip! 😎

We arrived there but it was closed! Later we saw in Google that in Tuesday and Wednesday it's closed so it was our fault we didn't see the museum inside!The 3 star is only because the neighborhood was a bit sketchy. A lot of shady and homeless guys! We were afraid to even let our car in the parking! And we arrived around 14:00. It wasn't even late in the afternoon!

Loved this little gem located in Victorvillle. Didn't know about this museum until I did a search on Google on stops driving to Vegas. The museum is free, but they do accept donations. Cool vintage items inside and plenty of photo-op opportunities. Highly recommend checking out when in the area.

Small, but packed with neat stuff! The friendly volunteers told us lots of stories, and I bought a cool watercolor print to remind me off the day.

what a cute place to visit, easy to get there, free to enter and they take donations. The artist is having fun with all the sculptures and details. So much fun to walk around and see the creative side of each piece. Thank you and definitely we will be back. It is hot and no restroom on site, plan accordingly.

I loved the Bottle Tree Ranch. It has a unique beauty. If you're on this stretch of Route 66, the National Trails Highway, stop in and enjoy it. Please be respectful. The site is fragile. There was a donation box, but it was missing when we stopped in 😞

A very unique place in the historic route 66! It's open so you can wander around and see all the bottle trees!! Pretty unique experience!!

Took my dog and drove here on new year's day. Followed the sign. Pushed the gate and went in to take a look around. We were the only ones there. There were random stuffs but the bottle trees were uniquely displayed. Thank you Mr Elmer and family that kept it up.

We stopped by on the way to Vegas. It’s a good 2.5 hour drive from San Diego and was a good break. It’s along Route 66 nothing but plots of dirt land.Depends on where you look, the hours listed may be different and I read that visitors come and the gates are locked. But I saw somewhere that they open at 7am and I emailed to confirm but never got a response. We took a chance and got there 8:45am. Surprisingly they were open with a sign that says “Welcome come on in”. It’s a wire gate with a latch that you let yourself in. We spent a total of 15 minutes.It’s just a bunch of glass jars, antiques and iron works. Saw an old rusted cash register, sewing machine, hood caps, random various items large and small, high and low. Very photo worthy from all angles.

An incredible and iconic place on Route 66!You gotta make sure to plan a visit here because everything is absolutely crazy (in a good way).The place features a huge collection of bottles lined up in vertical poles and decorated with bizarre items, which thanks to the sun give very nice colors and shadows.There is a big parking space in front and the entrance is free, although a small offer is appreciated for the care that everyday is put in this place.

Recommended plate to stop for 5 to 10 minutes, since it's not a huge place. Sculptures made out of bottles and other recycled items. Made by creative mind(s). Good photo op. Please bring some cash to leave a donation (donation box at the back, towards the house)

We visited Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch in May, 2023. I gave a five star rating not because it was the best place ever. No, it was because of the uniqueness of the place. When we stopped, it didn't see like anyone was around. But they had a sign to open the gate and visit.We didn't stay all that long since we were really pressed for time since we stretched ourselves thin that day. We walked around and took pictures. I was amazed with the artistry in thinking to create such a place.We stayed for a few minutes and enjoyed this magical little place. Then we close the gate behind us and were gone almost as fast as we arrived. All I can say is that if you are driving by, and maybe doing Route 66. You really should take the time to visit Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch. It's unique and interesting. I gave it five stars because of that.

A must see if you are travelling Route 66! An amazing array of bottles and vintage items used to create a forest of alternative trees. This has clearly taken a lot of time and effort to make and it is a great roadside attraction. Highly recommended!

Such a cool place! I know Elmer has passed but I am so happy to see they are keeping his vision alive. When we were there, there were a lot of people walking around looking at his awesome designs! This is a must stop on Route 66 to see the place and his designs. You could spend some real time here looking at the different trees and what each one has. So Cool!!

Beautiful open air museum made of about 200 large metal pipes holding colorful glass bottles in the shape of trees. It was the work of Elmer Long (passed away in 2019) who collected all the bottles in the desert with his father. The entrance is free but you can leave a donation (there was nobody at the time of my visit).

Been a minute since I came to this unique spot. Never fails to amuse me. So much art to appreciate and love how hardly anyone is here. It's not your typical overcrowded popular spot.

Absolutely fantastic! Found this place through a Google search of what to do near Adelanto california. It steered us here, and we didn't know what to expect. Driving up, it was clear why this place is so interesting. Had a nice chat with Brian who is the current caretaker of the place. It's obvious that he cares about the story of Elmer.. we spent a long time walking around again and again. You see something new each time you walk around! We left our own wine bottle with Brian, hoping it ends up on a new tree. Definitely going back here-- it's an easy drive from Vegas and well worth the time!!

Definately not what I expected. There is no shop, no employees, no one to greet you. You park, enter a gate and look around. Would I stop again, probably not...but it was a fun little adventure off the beaten path that allowed us to stretch out legs and goof off a bit. Oh, and the drive to it reminded me of scenes from "Rat Race".

Decided to make a few stop omw to San Diego with my dog. I love this is something unique. It was a cool little stop, glad I went!

Nice opportunity to learn a few things and connect somewhat with the history and flavor of the area. Would be nice if really more the spirit of the people's were captured, whereas museums are usually kinda bound to artifacts. I ask a lot of museums. This was a nice surprise.

Very nice little museum on the Indians in the area.There are small hiking trails around that give nice views of the desert.

This was such a cool place to visit with the kids, there's a lot of information when it comes to the history. The art work within the museum is very authentic and represents the culture very well.

Beautiful building and decor with amazing artifacts collections. The surrounding desert is breathtaking. The natural trail is short and fun. A great detour for the whole family. The entrance fee receipt can be used to enter other nearby state parks on the same day for free.

This place has a great history of local tribes if you are looking to learn about the native Americans who were here before everyone dating back to 5000BCE and probably earlier. No dogs allowed, but if you bring them, keep them in the parking lot.

Visited as a child and has always stuck in my mind so had to go back on a visit home to see family. The museum is built into a rock so some stairs are in the rock face. Lots of paintings on walls and a lot of Indian artifacts. Took my disabled mom with a walker there and there was access for her to see everything inside.

This is such a cool place. Built almost 100 years ago, this wooden frame structure is built into the granite rocks of the area, incorporating them into the living space. The collection of Native American artifacts include information on how collections and cataloging items have changed over the decades.The guest cottages and grounds are interesting and there is a nature trail around the park.

Worth the time to come, pictures make no justice to this little place. It's only 3 dollars to get in and kids 12 and under are free. It's a two stories building, it's not big but it just has a lot to read and once you are inside it's another world. Simply beautiful.

Was able to have the chance to watch and interact with the native community blessing from Indian tacos to Native and Aztec Dancers but my Favorite Local Native Families participating... looking forward for next year

Loved the gift shop. Prices were affordable.This place has changed a lot in the last 15 years. They used to have so much more to look at. But now they let you walk around and see the little houses they have on the property.

Interesting visit to this museum. We had bonuses about this place but got a tip from a former employee who now works at a pizza place. Nice display about the history of the mining operation and the current work being done here. A new platform outside gives a great view of the whole open pit and surrounding industry. There was a guide there who could tell interesting things about the place and the shop was a nice surprise with loads of fun things to buy (50% geology related of course). Takes about 1-2 hours to visit but definitely worth it if you happen to pass by.

I was pleasantly surprised with this visitors center. We were welcomed right away and given information. The center feels more like a museum, well made. There is a bunch of neat displays to look at. There is a lite gift shop with a nice assortment of things. I recommend this place for old and young.

I had the best time learning more about boron, 20 Mule Team, and this incredible mining operation. The visitor's center is put together very well, the gift shop is great, and most importantly the staff were so courteous and informative. You get a spectacular view of California's biggest open pit mine, and can watch the gargantuan machinery at work. Really cool!

Small visitor center but packed with information. 15 minute video on the company and site. They have views of the pit which is huge. It’s a nice place to stop and stretch and learn something new.

A highlight location whenever visiting Boron, CA. This mine is the largest open-pit mine in California and the 2nd largest Borax mine in the world providing 1/3 of the world's supply of Borax. Several fun photo opportunities available (Pit Mine Overlook, Giant Truck, Giant Tire, Life-sized Original 20-Mule Team Wagon, etc) and several piles of rocks in the parking lot where you can even gather your own borates. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable with both Marlon and Elsie making our experience memorable in their own ways. Couple this visit with Boron's 20-Mule Team Museum for a more thorough understanding of the history of the local area.

Great stopover to take a break. Even in place of the nearby rest area. Learn a bit of history. You prob have some product in your closet.

My husband did a commercial for 20 mule team as a baby, so this was a great side trip! The visitor center is great, history mining museum and great views inside the mine. Staff was so very friendly and informative!

I've always knew about Borax, but stopping here and learning about the mine and the process was great! Love the visitors center and being able to see the mine and the plant and learnthe history!

Nice airpark..It was closed upon our passage, unfortunately, but we could make some nice photos from the street.

Took. a little History tour. To the Blabird Park. In Palmdale, CA. It was awsome! Looking at all this, military birds. Some were used in World War II. I got to learn a little history. Majority, of this planes. Have a little informative stand.It's great to see the military planes with your own eyes.Take a trip and learn a little history.

This free history park, donations accepted, is an excellent stop for a good sample of military aircraft. The highlight is the SR71 and A12 aircraft parked right next to each other along with an intact engine on a cart along w a D-21 drone . Excellent signs and history details abound. Bring water, this is the desert and it can be hot.

Came from LA and had a marvelous time! Got to speak with an SR-71 pilot who told excellent stories! Wonderful museum!

Blackbird Airpark in Palmdale California is a beautiful site. We visited on a day when it was closed…it’s only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday…but we were able to walk around the outside fence and still get a nice look at the collection of aircraft history. Loved seeing two SR-71 Blackbirds next to each other along with U2 Dragon lady version. They have. 747 on the end of the park that NASA used to fly the space shuttles. Super cool to see in person! Lockheed Martin Skunkworks is located just down the road on Sierra Hwy as well. The town created some amazing aircraft just outside of Edwards Air Force Base. Be sure to give it a visit sometime!

I was looking for things to do while in Lancaster/Palmdale one weekend, and stumbled across this place on Google maps. I drove down and decided to check it out after some other errands I had to run, and it was well worth it. I spent an hour or two here, most of which was talking to the staff, volunteers, and veterans that were hanging out in the air conditioned gift shop. Needless to say, I loaded up on patches and coins before checking out the aircraft. Speaking of them, the static displays were well-kept and the park was clean. Definitely recommend checking it out, especially if you are an aircraft enthusiast.

Didn’t realize it would be so big. Technically the blackbird park part is small, but attached to the Palmdale operated portion of the museum. They are open at the same time and both free. Nice amount of shade and well designated paths. Really awesome collection of original aircraft that have operated at Edwards and elsewhere.

This visit was loved, I had tried to come several times and always closed but today we made it... although there was 97 degree sun, free entry and beautiful planes to see... if you are a fan of NASA this place is for you. ..and the gift shop a lot to buy from $4.99...Visit this place you won't regret it.

My dad's favorite plane.Whenever I drive by I always think of him.As a kid he would take me to the annual airshow at Edward's Airforce Base in Mojave and boast about how the Blackbird was the biggest and baddest of its time.Pretty cool to see this (now decommissioned) plane up close and personal.The volunteers are polite, professional, and knowledgeable.Enjoyed going with my mom this day.

Very nice little (free museum) supported by volunteers. 2xSR71’s and a drone plus other mystic jets. We have been told a former SR71 pilot was coming on sundays…. (Those guys are true pilots and heroes).

Love this place. I like that they stand for something and aren't just exploiting animals for money!

We went on an incredibly hot day, at around 2pm. Understandably, most of the cats were in their hides, but the staff here was absolutely amazing. One took us around to each cage and told us about the specific cat inside. It was obvious the volunteers and staff care greatly about these animals, as they were able to tell us the age, history, and personality of each individual cat! The enclosures were also amazing. Very clean, roomy, and had a lot of surfaces for the cats to climb and lounge on. Most had pools and some even had moving water! Cats were either kept alone, or with their parent to prevent territorial disputes.All in all, this is an incredibly well-planned and well taken care of place for big cats. They put the needs of the cats above all else. If you wish to support a great facility, and maybe also see some big kitties, definitely visit.

It wasn't "super bloomed" on this Easter Sunday but it was picturesque and there are lots of paths to walk through. Some areas had better pockets of poppies that made for better photos when close up.Saw a bunch of little lizards, no snakes. And bugs, so bring bug spray along with sunscreen and water of course.If you want to save the $10 entrance fee, there are really great viewing areas along the street before the preserve that had bright patches of poppies. Many people were doing that.

I went here for the first time and we liked it. We loved that the trails lead you back and no chance to get lost. Though cold, there are flowers especially on the side that does not have much wind. It’s beautiful. Fresh air. Greatfull to experience nature.

I have wanted to visit the reserve for many years now, and it didn't disappoint. The poppies were in bloom, carpets of flowers everywhere. Truly beautiful. I hiked all of the trails, north and south. There's paid parking, restrooms and a visitor center. It can be very, very busy on weekends during the blooming season, but well worth the visit.

Incredible hiking trails full of all of the wild flowers you could imagine this year! We got there at 730am and the park was already busy. $10 to get in and worth it in every way. Definitely stay on the trails as to not damage the flowers or disturb any wildlife.

There's no puppies this year but if you love nature you still enjoy visiting this park. You will be amazed by the variety of other flowers you will see. The tiny tiny chamomile gives the hills that vibrant yellow color that you will love.

Beautiful park. We went in February end and there were no poppies and the visitor center was closed too. I heard it opens in March and the flowers start blooming in late March. So, don’t visit before that for watching poppies. But now is a great time to do hikes and watch all the scenic hill tops$10 to park

An amazing place for a date. Nice scenic drive, beautiful rolling hills and gorgeous flowers! 10/10 fully recommend.There are a LOT of bugs so I would bring bug spray. Also plenty of hiking trails ranging from easy to difficult, so if you are into hiking definitely bring hiking gear.

We flew in all the way from Washington to see the poppy fields. When we got to the reserve, we didn’t see any poppies, but there were poppies blooming out side the reserve. If you go east on Lancaster road, about a mile away from the reserve, you will see an unmarked open parking on the right. You won’t see any poppies from the parking area, but if you follow the trail after you park and keep walking south toward the valley you will see a huge field of poppies and some pink flowers blooming all over the valley. It was an unforgettable sight! There are also other poppy fields that you will see along Lancaster road if you keep driving east, but the poppy fields that hidden in valley is the best and the most picturesque!! P.S poppy fields and valley has no shade, so make sure to wear a hat or put on a lot of sun screen and bring enough water.

Poppy's were not in complete bloom but absolutely beautiful to see the hills colored in yellow and orange. Highly recommend stopping by and doing the walk around the reserve. The staff is incredibly friendly and plus we even caught some of the eclipse there

I overall enjoyed this place. The hikes were not very long. The incline was about 2% grade. Now to see the poppies in Bloom, it would depend on the weather. The poppies are sensitive. When I went, just before Spring, in late March, It had rained a lot causing the poppies too Suffer, due to lack of oxygen. So, as a warning look on their live webcam first or ask the ranger station if you can get a live person and ask them the conditions. The staff mini ATV vehicles riding around, but they seem to have missed many holes on the pathway that need filling in regularly. Good luck. 🙌🏼😅👍🏼🌅

No poppies and not the friendliest bunch. We did have our dog with us and were told she couldn't leave the parking area, so we weren't able to even use the picnic area because it was up a trail away from parking. So we tailgated in the parking lot and a delightful volunteer told us just be sure you don't leave a mess. So trip was more a super-bust than a superbloom.

April 2024 is supposed to be fully bloomed season for poppy but they didn’t get this year. Please check before visiting this place.

First went here to watch the superbloom in 2023, and I was MIND BLOWN. Not just because of the flowers but because of the miles and miles of undulating hills, clean air and tranquility. You HAVE to visit, be it during spring when the flowers are in bloom or any other time of year!

I think last time we were there was more poppies but this time because of the rain or cold weather was not that much poppies that we expected, but other than that was a nice experience! Try to go afternoon around sunset to see the sunset and skip the traffic! The bathrooms were so dirty, try not to go. The parking is $10, which you can park of the road and walk up there if you can, in overall was nice!

Rocks were definitely red! In all seriousness though, this place was quiet, and definitely worth the drive. It was pretty hot so we didn't hike far, but the landscape and rocks are totally awesome to see as someone who's never been to any kind of desert before! I will note, the visitors centre was closed even though the hours on the door were listed as it being open, but they had maps you could take for free so we were able to find our way around fine. Also, they had nice off-roading trails as well. Nice place!

Very nice experience for the kids. Very well taken care of and clean. Didn’t get to do some of the hikes because it was a bit hot but plan on going when the weather is cooler to enjoy the trails. high recommend and plan on going back soon .

It was more than a 2hrs drive for me to get to but I went on Christmas day and there were very little traffic. I went hiking with my dog and it was a pleasant day to do so. I was only hiking at the entrance area because dogs are not allowed on trails. Didn't drive further into where the camp ground was. I got there late in the afternoon so the sun was about to set. It's worth stopping by.

Can you believe it? All of what we see now used to be under water, the entire area was at the bottom of a massive lake millions of years ago! We passed through Red Rock Canyon on our way to Mammoth lake. Not gonna lie, I wanted to come when we were on our way back from Death Valley a couple of months ago, but we didn't have enough time to stop by. So, I feel like I had to plan for a visit this time, and luckily, it turned out amazing. The camel rock reminds me of Cappadocia in Turkey, and the Turk's turban rock looks even more beautiful in person. We didn't have time to check out window rock this time, but I feel like Red Rock Canyon would be a great destination for RV camping and stargazing. How lucky we have such an amazing place in Cali, and it's only less than 3 hours away from LA!

Amazing geology, beautiful painted desert! You can drive and park right next to the rock formations, so family members who can't really hike will enjoy this spot. It's part of my favorite day-trip loop with family and friends. I take some folks in my Jeep, driving from Tehachapi - Bakersfield - Kern River Canyon - Lake Isabella - Red Rock Park - and end at the Windmills by California City. If you time it right, you can get the color of Red Rock just as the sun sets, then the windmills just after sunset. These photos of Red Rock are just before sunset, and a wildfire haze made a surreal pinkish hue in the sky.

Awestruck - I’ll certainly be back again. Some of the most beautiful geological features I’ve seen this part of the country. It looks like a living organism that’s shifting between phases; you can see the layers eroding. Pretty cool

Nightmare Gulch Loop Trail - it’s 9 miles hiking course. There is no restroom. You may have to find out how you can void. You will see two directions at the beginning of trail. If you choose right side, you will face to long slope after walking 4 miles. It’s not that hard but hard. If you don’t like it, turn left. It’s great trail. You may feel walking on the other planet. Little scare cuz you may not meet people while hiking.

If you come on a trip and pass through this canyon you must stop and visit it, beautiful creation of God, incredible colors!

Amazing red rock formation. If you drive through I-14, stop for a moment for this park, you will not be regret. There is no park entry to collect fee, you pay for your stay at visitor center. Red Cliffs Natural Area is on the other side of the I-14. Avoid afternoon as those amazing rocks will be in shadow, not good for pictures

Did a short but nice 1 mile trail. So pretty, there's so many wild flowers blooming right now.

I recently visited Red Rock Canyon State Park in California and was blown away by the stunning red hills that dominate the landscape. The colors are so rich and vibrant, it's truly a unique sight to see. The best part is that the parking lot is conveniently located close to the actual trail, making it easy to enjoy a day trip from Los Angeles. If you're looking for a beautiful outdoor adventure, I highly recommend checking out Red Rock Canyon State Park.

Absolutely gorgeous views, I was in love with this place! A very nice drive, with numerous areas to stop. It can get a little "touristy" in certain areas, but we were able to walk further in and find private areas to relax. Fair warning though - I can't tell you how many people (including ourselves) were under dressed and freezing. 🤣 I think we all assumed being so close to Vegas/the dessert that it would be hot. It can get very hot, but definitely check the weather before you go!

Beautiful place with trails and sights you, probably, haven’t seen elsewhere.The visiting center has a lot of info about the wildlife and the park itself. Take a map there and choose which sites to see and what trails to go on.

Ample parking. Nice short trails. Cell reception is pretty much non existent around here.

We just happened to stop by this darling train depot not knowing it was actually a museum. We were thrilled!! The docent gave a fabulous tour and had everyone enthralled. It has a great history and Tehachapi is very blessed to have had this restored for this purpose. I highly encourage everyone to stop by for a visit it’s even more thrilling when the trains ride by…

Railroad memorabilia some of the best I've seen. It was absolutely awesome touring this Railroad Museum. I can't wait to go back I was so entertained I forgot to take pictures. the volunteers who do such an awesome job are so friendly and so very interested in showing you their displays. I had so much fun thank you to all the people involved to keep such wonderful history to admire and learn from.

Great place to visit! Our docent who we met was super kind and thorough. We left being more knowledgeable.

Fantastic museum. Docent was super knowledgeable about the history of Tehachapi and the items in the train depot. I loved the guided tour. The museum is a treasure trove of early California history and train history.

If you’re going to check this place out and you just plan on walking in and walking around by yourself, I would highly recommend getting the guided tour it is no cost they are donation-based only. The tour was amazing. The volunteers are very nice and knowledgeable.

My family and I stopped here on our way through town. We just wanted a quick look but ended up getting a full tour. I don't remember our tour guides name but he was very informative and made our visit super special. He made the stop well worth it. If he is reading this, we were the family that told you the story of the 800mb hard drive advert. I highly recommend anyone with the slightest interest in trains to stop by this historic train depot.

A fantastic visit. This is quite a small museum, but it packs a number of interesting artifacts and is completely free. But the stars are the volunteers. I spent the best part of an hour there just chatting to them, sharing and contrasting the US and UK rail systems.If you've an hour free, it's not too far from the LA to San Francisco freeway. Divert, have a look around and a chat, leave a donation if you can and then visit the Tehachapi loop viewpoint.

Very fun place to see! Guids were very nice and informative. If you're a Railroad enthusiast, this the place to check out. There is no admissions fee. Plz leave donation to help with the preservation of this historical treasure.Then drive 10 mi down the road to check out the Tehachapi loop. If the train comes by the station and your fast you can get on the 58 west bound and make it to the observation point and watch the train come thru the loop!

Very cute. All of the staff are enthusiastic. They might all be volunteers. They also encouraged us to visit the Tehachapi Loop overlook and gave directions. The Loop is definitely worth the little drive. Take chairs and hang out a while. There is usually a local out at the loop more than willing to tell you all about it.

Really nice museum. Super clean and well done exhibits. Highly recommended. Tehachapi is proud of their heritage, as they should be, and it shows from places like this as well as the nearby antique stores and museums right up the street. This was a wonderful visit and we hope to be back soon.

This is a great place to take the family of all ages. This museum operates on donations, so their is no actual fee to enter. The volunteer who gives the tour is very knowledgeable. The gift is tiny and cute. If you love trains this is the place for you.

The Tehachapi Depot Museum is a really neat exhibit full of historical curiosities. They have some nice antique pieces of railway equipment and adjacent items like old luggage, etc. I liked that they display a piece of train track that had melted under extreme duress. They also have preserved news clippings and other literature for your viewing.The staff is very pleasant here, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I like that the museum is situated directly next to the actual operational railway, that there is a railroad-themed playground next door, and that a great sandwich deli and bakery, Kohnen’s, is only a hundred feet away.

The Tehachapi Depot Museum is an excellent place to visit and watch trains. You have both Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa Fe passing right next to this depot. The information in and around the Tehachapi Depot Museum is very educational. I fully recommend and support this Museum.

The outlet has many shops for clothing, art, pottery barn etc... good place to stop on the way to LA or back. During the day the foot traffic was less. Has clean bathrooms. Liked the art gallery very much which featured artists from all around California. A bit pricey though

SO worth the drive. You’ll find deals all over!The bathrooms are very clean and they have a cool rack behind and above the toilet to put your bags or purse in.There’s plenty of resting benches if you need a little break from all your shopping. Hehe.Everything looks so nice and clean.My husband, baby and I had a blast! 😊

There's a Car Show at the parking lot and that was fun. First time seeing this much Tesla Charger. I love shopping here. Nice stuff and great deals. Also have Clean Restroom but the Food Court was closed and there's only Tony's Pizza and Subway. Wish they have more Restaurant.

Nice pitstop on the way to or from North CA. Not a huge selection of places to shop but enough to keep you busy. Food court was closed but still plenty of food places. Only 2 restrooms, one on each end of the outlet so they were crowded and quite a walk. There is an third restroom in the food court in the center but that was closed. Prices were average. Parking lot was huge. You can easily park an RV or trailer out on the edges. Starbucks and fast food are located nearby so you can eat elsewhere if you did not want to shop. We visited on a busy Thanksgiving weekend. The lot was set up to control traffic and parking and it was very efficient and effective. Driving in and out were a breeze and not frustrating on a busy weekend. It was well done.

Decent sized outlets with quite a few stores. There’s the usual suspects brands that you will find across. Nothing crazy or out of the world deals but it’s a good enough location that’s accessible to folks from Bakersfield and the ones driving up to LA. Not many food courts in the outlet but there’s some restaurants around the corner and across the free way.

It is located right of the freeway. Lots of free parking available. Entrance is wheelchair accessible. Clean restrooms and lots of shops to choose from.

Found this place right off the highway and it was a nice place to stretch my legs, do a little shopping, and people watch for a little while. I'd say if you need these things on a long road trip, this is a good place to stop in at. The area seems well maintained and there were enough people walking back and forth that this small is very much alive. The men's room was kept clean which is a rare and pleasant surprise for a mall. They have most of the big name brand stores, so if you're looking to do some holiday shopping you could do worse than this place.

Great stores, clean environment. I prefer driving from Bakersfield to the outlets instead of going to the mall in town. I do wish there were more food choices, but the area across the street nearby has a lot to choose from.

The Outlets at Tejon offers a clean and inviting outdoor shopping experience, complete with a basic yet satisfying variety of stores. Its open-air setting is a breath of fresh air for shoppers tired of the traditional mall atmosphere. However, the mall does fall short when it comes to restroom cleanliness, an area that could use some attention. Additionally, the layout is quite spread out, requiring a good amount of walking to get from one end to the other. Conveniently, it also includes a supercharging station for electric vehicles, making it a practical stop for more than just shopping. Overall, a solid 4/5 experience.

It was a good stop for our class when we were traveling, I just wish more food was open past 8. Also there are a lot of cool plants in this area.

Comfortable place to shop, very clean, lots of clean restrooms and places to rest and eat. Shaded pathways which very healthy. Went to several shops… had a very good discount on a diamond ring for my wife at Kevin’s Jewelry store, Irene and all the staff were very professional and helpful providing all the information that we needed. I always go to Kevin’s jewelry store to buy good things but it’s my first time at the tejon branch, usually I get my good stuff in the Valley Mall plaza on Ming Ave., but both gives good deals for the blings and rolexes. Also had fun at the Levi’s store lots of items with BOGO and more good deals. Had a delicious pizza at Tony’s pizza to re energize with our shopping. Our furry baby chihuahua was always welcomed in all the shops and he enjoyed walking on the clean shaded pavement. There are lot of parking areas and we parked at the shaded parking area. Had a fun day in this place, worth the trip with lots of discounts and good deals…..and pizza❤️

Such a great experience! Took 6 of my guys up for a bachelor party. They were very accommodating with all of the planning and a few last minute changes. Our tour guides Augie and Mary were absolutely the BEST! Made our trip fun and exciting. I’m so happy I chose Kern River Outfitters. We will definitely be going back and using them again.

My 2 sons and I went on the 130pm rafting trip. Byron was our Guide, it was just my boys and myself on the raft. He did a great job. the ride was awesome and he let my boys take turns steering the raft. We asked for him to put us on the hardest parts and he did. it was everything we hoped for. The whole crew was great. You could tell they loved what they do and enjoyed working together. Even the bus ride was fun... Thank you for giving myself and my boys a memory we will never forget.

Adam was a stellar boat captain. The whole team was to notch. Personalities and guest service beyond expectations. From the instructions given by Bailey to the cool bus ride up and down.... the perfect weather and great company... it was an amazing experience. So glad I picked this company. It was a last minute decision about 3 hours before the trip and they accommodated us so quickly. Never have gone before and now I'm ready to go again and again. Thank you to a great team! Adam, I didn't have cash and I wish I could have left you a huge tip! I'm so sorry! You deserve so much!

Had a great rafting experience. Guide was fun and friendly, very smiley dude. I was hoping for a bit more action but it was my first time in a river so it was a nice start. There were two kids in my raft of 6 plus guide. It didn’t present any issue that one did not row. None of us were especially strong accept our guide and I never felt as if any of the 6 boats on our group were ever in any danger at all.

my brother and I took my dad white water rafting for his 60th birthday and we all had the best time!! The guides were very professional and made us feel comfortable and confident that they really knew what they were doing. Plus they were so much fun, personable, and gave us some awesome recommendations for hikes. Our guide was Miles and he was the best! He really read our skill level and stoke level and made sure we had a great time. We will definitely be rafting with this company again in the future.

He took cautious first time rafters and made rafting enthusiast. They were "riding the bull" and all in by the end of the first run. We all felt safe with Sven in charge even taking on the big ones. Overall I think the entire crew emphasize safety without scaring rafters and that made this mom very happy. This was a great adventure for my family and friends. Indeed, it was a fantastic rafting trip. We chose the half-day Upper Kern Class IV trip. This was the first time they could run the Upper Kern in over a month, and the current was perfect. It was extra splashy and a total blast! Sven was our guide; he was highly experienced, knowledgeable about the river, and so much fun. We can't wait to go back.

The trip was awesome - we got a little bit of everything on the Class IV Premium Half Day! Our Guide, “Big Water” Blair, really built up the confidence of our raft of 6 inexperienced paddlers and we made it through all 5 big rapids successfully. We got to take a dip in the river in one of the calmer sections. Even for a short trip, we got some really exciting rapids and would highly recommend this trip and KRO to anyone. On top of the fun trip, the Kern was beautiful with the trees along the river and the mountains in the background

If you’re somewhat of a rowdy bunch and want to get into the thick of the rapids, don’t mind getting wet and are looking for more excitement than the normal trek, Gabe (Nick Cage) is your dude. We were all really pumped on the trip. The company was very professional even before we booked our trip, upon arrival, and even with us wanting to go the extra and get kinda gnarly on the river, Gabe (Nick Cage) made sure that we all knew exactly what to expect and what to do depending on what could potentially happen next so we were all in good hands (Nick Cage) and safety was still priority #1.I recommend doing the full day (8 hour) trip. We booked the upper Kern but due to weather got switched to the lower kern which I heard was better. The first trip through is almost like a taste test to get your bearings. We stopped for a rock jump/cliff jump which was chill and then later stopped again for a mid day break. I honestly felt kind of tired and already a little sore at that point but the deli sandwiches were solid and once we went for round two you’re already prepared for what’s to come but with slightly different conditions so our group was all about going harder the second time which really made the whole trip a blast.(Side note) I haven’t done river rafting since high school and I’m 37 now so I’m not seasoned in doing this by any means.Anyways the conversations during the mellow parts of the river were good, we got soaked going for it, floated down the river when it was chill and paddled hard when we were in the thick of it all thoroughly enjoying ourselves. Overall it was an absolute blast and I plan to definitely come back at least once a year to do this same trip.I highly recommend this company. You won’t be disappointed.HUGE THANKS Gabe (Nick Cage/Ashton Butcher) and Kern River Outfitters. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Was hungry & saw this place just before we passed the exit. The other farm type place we had stopped at they wanted $13 for the yogurt parfait. $4 here! Fresh empanadas, the peach was the tastiest I’ve ever had. Got some honey with comb, even the fudge was a great price. & you can dine in the pretty courtyard. Loaded up for our trip, legendary frog balls 😂, cucumber chips. Great staff, thank you!

It's a really great place to stop and get food. Fresh fruit and some damn good meat pies!! They're delicious!! Loved it. The only thing is that the restrooms are filthy and smell awful. I've stopped here several times, and they're gross. But, other than that, it's a nice place!

Great place to stop outside of Bakersfield. They have a cute indoor produce stand with a large variety of fruits and some veggies. The cherries were some of the best I’ve ever had. Homemade pies in variety of flavors and sizes, fresh popcorn and a large area of pickled items, jams, sauces and honey (the cactus honey is amazing)! There is also a small deli area where you can get some hot sides or a sandwich. Seating outside on the patio or garden area to eat. They offer a u-pick, but I did not check that out. They also offer fuel pumps with both gas and diesel. If you need to fuel up, stretch your legs, grab some fresh produce or a bite to eat, this is your stop! The customer service is friendly and everything was clean!

Great spot to stop by. Food was a bit overpriced but definitely worth it for the experience if you're driving by. They have a very interesting blueberry pulled pork that everyone should try.

This was our first time here and we loved it! I took so many pictures in front of beautiful flowers. For Mother’s Day I got in for free. While being there they had a cherry pie eating contest and the pie was amazing! I also had a BBQ blueberry brisket pie and wow, it was soooo good. There were kid activities like slides a big air filled bouncer, animals and more. My kids had a blast. My favorite part was picking the fruits, the fresh picked berries are to die for. Unfortunately we were pretty occupied so I didn’t get pictures of the strawberries. If you’re considering going, just do it, you won’t regret it!

Such a fun spot for spooky season! We went a couple of hours before close on a Friday and the crowd levels were almost nonexistent. The price of admission comes with 1 pumpkin each, which I loved. We could’ve spent so much more time exploring, but we were running out of time before they closed. We’ll definitely be back before the season is over!

Stopped in for a bit of shopping and a wonderful lunch. Don't pass this place by in your adventures! In my opinion better than Disneyland! A million stars

Nice place to stop when on the road — one can get fresh fruits, nuts, and pie!The prices may sting some but hey it’s a family farm business that uses some of the freshest ingredients one can source. So it makes sense. Quality isn’t cheap!!I’ve stopped here numerous times and haven’t been disappointed! It’s fun for the little ones and good for tourist to visit.

The blueberry BBQ pork pie was great and my kid (picky-eater) loved it too. We had a blast doing pick-your-own citrus and it was a great experience for the kids to participate in agriculture first hand. I highly recommend this stop for families.

I was so excited when I saw a big red barn with my hometown name on it. I am from Murray Kentucky so I had to stop when I saw this place in Bakersfield California. It took me back home walking in, I bought 3 okie pies that were absolutely delicious!!! I could have ate all three if I hadn't bought one for my mama and Gigi. The orange honey is the bees knees...his hands and his elbows and the blackberry butter is gonna be spread on every piece of bread in the house. Y'all gotta stop in and support the local shop.

Cute little spot for fall activities, even as an adult without kids. However, unfortunately, some of the activities weren't open. Maybe because we went on a weekday? We would have really enjoyed the apple cannons and paintball range if they were open. Otherwise, you really can't beat the price since admission even includes a pumpkin.. and good ones too! Also, bonus, SUPER PRETTY SUNSETS.

Super cute place. Great for pitstop to get out and stretch. Lots to see from the Popcorn house, the fruit and veggies fields to the attractions all over the place. Not to mention the friendly orange tabby cat.

So much fun to stop on our way out of town! Love the good food (especially the Oakie Pies) and the festive atmosphere!

They have fresh fruit all the time. (Absolutely delicious) not to expensive compared to other vendors around.I really love the blueberry pulled pork I completely recommend it!!We always try to stop here on all our trips by here but traffic sucks getting in and out of here.just one employee was a bit rude thinking she was funny just sending you on a scavenger hunt for things they didn’t have.

Amazing show! I'd never been to Bakersfield before [except in shackles on the prison bus], and I didn't expect such a cool city. The venue was great, the lines moved fast, and the overpriced drinks were no more overpriced than they are everywhere else. And the staff and security were cool. If it wasn't 3+ hours away from me, I'd definitely go back and see a show here again. 🍻

Many great events occur here from year to year, decade after decade after decade. It will behove all non residents to familiarize themselves with the lay of the land if your plan is to show up just prior to the start of most venues...

What an amazing venue! Here for a math conference and the setup and support from staff has been amazing. The space is huge, the audio was exceptional, and it would be tremendously fun to come here to see a concert.

A smaller sized theater venue which kind of reminded me of my old high school auditorium, actually. The seats are T I N Y. Very much like old school auditoriums. The sound is good though! The views are pretty good all around I think. I was in Terrace level G at first row CC. The rails are kind of in the way, but could easily sit up to bypass them. I drove from LA up to Bakersfield for the first time to see Colter Wall and it was a great experience! The parking is easy and everyone helps easily point you the right way. Would recommend making the drive from LA to see your favorite artist or band here!

Good venue. View is especially good from the 200 sections on the long sides of the arena. I sat in section 215 and I had a great view! I'd definitely go to another concert here. Got in and out quickly.

Condor games are always fun with family and friends! I’m grateful for my friends inviting me to these events, especially to check out our local team. I’ve also been to the convention center for concerts, usually parking is easily assessable. And if you’re like me and running late and have to park away from the venue there’s usually spots at a close walking distance.

We went to see Toto and Journey last weekend at this venue. It was big with lots of seating. The bands were awesome!

Great venue! I didn't get food but it looked and smelled really good. I saw one of my favorite bands of all time, Matchbox Twenty. My seat was in the first row of the stands, just off center in front of the stage. I felt so close! I felt like I had fantastic seats for a HUGE band and they weren't that expensive. And honestly better than the floor seats unless you're front row, I couldn't stand up the whole time.

Went to a Condor's game and had a lot of fun. The seats were really affordable and there were some decent drink options; some were way overpriced. We got some pretzels also, but they were horrible. Very stale and too much salt

Awesome venue!Nice & cool inside the venue, when outside the temperature was close to 100 & very humid.The skybox was a good place to see the stage. The attendant/server Geo was awesome. he made sure we had everything we needed & there was plenty of food & drinks.It was a plus that we did not have to wait in line in the bathroom. As there was a bathroom in the skybox.

My oldest son and I went to NXT No Mercy and enjoyed it from a suite. We had friends, family, food, drinks a private bathroom, and luxurious seats facing the ring. Highly recommend!

Attended for a Cheer event for our granddaughter. Staff was friendly. The lobby and main theater was clean . The seats were stadium style so the view from each section was great!

First time here. Came to see the Bakersfield Blaze Concert with Ice Cube, Cypress Hill and a few others. Had a good time. I purchased floor seats, not really knowing what that meant. I was a little harder to see the stage, I'd definitely recommend getting seating in the upper levels just to get a better view of the stage without having to stand up. The floor seats did feel a little close together, i felt like i kept bumping into my neighbors lol. I liked that there was many restrooms, because the lines can get very long. Paid for parking so that made it super easy. Had a great time over all.

It is more like a historical park with lots of historical buildings with old furniture moved/rebuilt there. There is also a small museum with interactive exhibits about petroleum exploration and a small kids museum. We spent around 3 hours going through everything. Kids had a great time peaking into each house to see what it looked like in the old times. We were there on a Saturday but no one was at the ticket window so we got in for free.

Went primarily to check out Merle Haggard's old house but the whole place was delightful. Rich in history and wonderfully presentation.

I was surprised and impressed by the depth and breadth of this collection. I moved to Kern County in 1996 but didn’t visit until 2022. Don’t wait! It’s great for all ages, something for everyone.There are several great exhibits covering the history of Kern County, it’s pioneers, influencers (think Bakersfield Sound and Cesaer Chavez), lifestyle and industry.

I love this place!! Best place to visit - you could spend hours and hours here!! The coolest collection of local history- both indoor and outdoor exhibits of great interest to All ages! Get here early so you can spend the whole day here! The country music building was especially cool 😎 they had historic outfits and instruments on display! Great way to get some exercise and learn about the history of the area- they even have fossils of sabertooth tigers found at the nearby tar pits! Go here! You won't regret it.

Their event for Halloween 🎃 this year was great! Not too long of lines to get candy, not too scary for the younger kids, tickets were five dollars each and five dollars more to get a bag for candy. No buckets allowed since they give you the bags and you have to pay per person to get candy. Most of the museums attractions were open to view and walk through. There were some vendors there for food, coffee, popcorn and tacos. They had a projector playing a Halloween 👻 movie and they had some bounce houses for the kids. Parking was a little intense but we ended up getting super lucky with a good spot. Highly recommend for next year if you want to do something other than stay in or go house to house.

This place is awesome! I absolutely recommend it. It's totally worth the money. Each exhibit is unique and lots of fun. Definitely stop by the church if you're feeling hot. You'll thank me later. This place is so huge that we ran out of time. We'll definitely return to see the rest!

While visiting Bakersfield for just 3 days, we took in the history at The Kern County Museum twice! Fascinating for kids and parents alike, we appreciated being in a safe place our kids could roam and explore. Thank you for having us!

I hadn't been to Pioneer Village in about 3 decades. I had a friend visiting from out of town and decided to take him there. I was delightfully surprised to see how much it has changed and grown. At least from my faint memory from elementary school! Even though he's not from Bakersfield, he also quite enjoyed the experience.I loved the interactive displays to show how the equipment works. The transportation exhibit is really cool. I loved being able to see such a wide range of vehicles from different eras.It was very peaceful to meander through and enjoy the park-like environment on top of seeing all of the houses and buildings.The only "complaint" I have is that I didn't have access to quite a few of the different buildings since I was in a wheelchair. I understand limitations due to the nature of the historic nature of the buildings, but I was just a little bummed out.Otherwise I hope to introduce more people to this lovely little haven. 😁

Safe Halloween had always been a family tradition for my kids now I just took my grandsons for the first time and I thank all of you who are still keeping this event afloat. But I also seen that the community needs to help more for the kids!!!

We went for Ronald Mcdonald's house walk for kids with Texas Roadhouse. There were Starwars costume actors that put in lots of effort as well as other this to do. It was so well done and a lot of fun. Very well maintained and clean. I hadn't been in 20 years since my last visit. Great way to spend a morning or evening and see or community's history

I enjoyed seeing the various time period house's and businesses that were moved here. Really enjoyed the country music building with the show biz clothing, boots, and Billings. Have a tribute to Merle Haggard and Buck Owens, native Bakersfielders.

It has been almost 20 years since I visited last, and this museum is the most memorable history museum I all my years. It made such an impact on me as a kid, that I actually got into history in school. It was like taking a step beck into time. Everything interested me deeply, and i suggest taking your kids. Especially on Halloween. Their Halloween events are so memorable and fun to attend.You NEED to visit this place!10/10

Buck Owens Crystal Palace. I'm so glad they reopened. I absolutely LOVE this place . The food was GREAT . I can't remember the name of my waitress she was great. They also had great music the Stampede was GREAT. Can't wait to return.

My husband and I came from Texas to visit family and came here for dinner. I had the chicken fried steak and it was outstandingly delicious 😋 the green beans were to die for...I know, green beans! But the biscuits and honey butter were melt in your mouth good. Our server was so nice and did a great job.The place was so nice with lots of country music memorabilia, pics, and a live country band with dancing. A good family place to bring kids to dance.We had a great time. I definitely enjoyed this night out.

Attended a concert with my wife. Had a delicious dinner, food was great and service excellent! Disappointed in our seating location, could not clearly enjoy watching the show. Sound was good. I have enjoyed the Crystal Palace many times since it opened. Food is always good and entertainment is usually good.

An evening with friends with great country music and food. Special mention to Maddy our server. Very cheerful and smiling every time she came to the table.Can't wait to go back again.

Surprised to find this venue here. Love entertainment and good food and drinks. Loved the history and the displays of Buck's life along with local celebrities and more current country singers.Good size dance floor and live band playing older and some newer country music. Definitely worth a visit.

Enjoyed this venue very much. If you're a country music fan this place is for you! So much memorabilia all over the place. Great picture opportunities. There is not a bad seat in the house. The environment and crowd was great. Brought my teenagers to see Charlie Crockett and we all had a great time. Tickets are affordable. We did not eat as kitchen closed at 10. I would see a show here again!!

Buck Owens' Crystal Palace is amazing! Reflections just had our 3rd annual fundraiser there and the staff took care of everything! The food was fantastic!

Excellent venue. Wasn't too crowded like some concert venues. Security and staff were on very friendly, informative, and on top of everything.

Great atmosphere! Bartenders were awesome! Food and entertainment was great! Loved seeing all the memorabilia and meeting Erik Estrada!

Amazing place to dine at. First time me and my wife came here and it was definitely worth it. We got to see the famous Bakersfield sign, and also loved the museum part of the restaurant. The food was heavenly, i had a chicken fried steak sandwich, which was huge, and fries. Wife got a chicken fried steak meal, with baked potato, and loved it. Started off with some onion rings, which were divine. Ended the meal with chocolate cake, and oh boy, im glad i saved room for it. This place was really amazing, live music, cool bar has a Cadillac behind it, museum to wonder around and check out, made for a fun night. Definitely will be back here again soon.

During our trip to Sequoia National Park, we had a pleasant stop at Lemon Hill Recreation Area to explore Lake Kaweah. This place offers a variety of activities, including boating, swimming, and fishing, making it perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. The Kaweah Marina is well-equipped and provides watercraft rentals for added convenience. The Vista Point boasts ample parking and a public restroom, which is quite convenient.Unfortunately, the visitor center was closed during our visit. Nonetheless, the natural beauty and recreational options make this a must-visit spot!

Beautiful, scenic Lake. Cool winds, surrounding hills, road nearby, easy access to reach here & have a quality time with nature. Boating would be fun if one gets chance to.

Took a drive up to see what the water level looked like, we were shocked to still see how low it was. Only 2 marinas open. Because the water so low it seems to be congested right next to the docks. I hate that people don’t know how to share parking for those who actually use the dock with water craft.

Visiting here back in July 2019. It was a beautiful experience on the way to the Sequoia National Park. To visit the giant sequoia trees. I'm not guilty, to say the least that this is a very beautiful spot to just chill and meditate. Perfect for recreation. Perfect for sightseeing very beautiful landscape. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone who's out there looking for adventure in looking for some time away from the norm and time spending with the beautiful nature.

The place is beautiful.. Lots of places to walk, rocks to climb, shallow places for kids. My only complaint is the shores and the water from there abd 20-30 ft out because its covered in nastiness from stuff out in the water.

Beautiful lake.Lots of parking restrooms are clean and maintained very well. There are some tables too around the oarking area.You can bring your boat or jet ski.We stop by after visiting Sequoia Park. I wouldn't swim in there, not sire if it's even possible.We went to the slik stone creek, so I didn't even check that option. We were looking to have a nice area to stop and have dinner before heading back to Los Angeles.Overall it was a nice place to have dinner l, other than that we didn't had much to do there.

Wonderful place all year long. Don’t forget to take your trash with you. Let’s help keep our lakes and rivers clean. Fishing isn’t always the best but the experience is great. You always run into friendly people in and around on the lake.

Beautiful place to go if you’re wanting to relax and unplug. Not too far from Sequoia National Park if you’re traveling near that area.

Great place for a variety of shopping

What you would expect at any of the outlet locations. Scored some smoking deals at Nike and Vans!

My first time here, the customer service in almost every single store i went inside was AMAZING, childrens place and i forgot the sister store to them , journeys. I definitely will be back, i wanted to eat somewhere but could not find a place that served salad so i went somewhere else instead! Overall it was nice and clean also!

I went to Kay Jewelry to have them put a battery in my watch. Very helpful and kind at the same time. The kind of business I like when I need a service to be performed.

Went to the Outlets for the first time in a long time. This place unfortunately hasn't changed much at all. Don't get me wrong. Parking lot is full on a holiday weekend but the layout has not changed at all in over 20 years. Cannot expect much for Tulare though. All the medium or top flight stores are nowhere to be found. It was a rather boring experience. I will be going to Citadel or Camarillo if I need to shop at the Outlets.

Good place to shop. You can shop and get a bite to eat. You got a sweet tooth? You can take care of that too! My kids and my needs are both met all in one place.

It's a very basic outlet center does not have a lot of stores as compared to other outlets. But whatever it has it's pretty good about it. They are adding more shops Columbia is coming!!!

Tulare outlets are cool because they are not in Fresno, so if a day adventure is what your looking for it'll be fun. However they are really overpriced. And if you decide to get approved for any of the stores credit lines beware, they make it hard to pay the credit cards so just beware. But all in all they're cool

One of my favorite movie theaters! Just saw Spiderman with a large soda & mouth watering popcorn. Great movie to watch with comfortable chairs that recline back! Best movie theatre about Tulare county. 🙌

Nice there the only issue I have is the cops are always there looking to stop good hard working people for an exp tags when just around the conner you can see a lot more that needs attention

Love the movie theater with large reclining seats. Bravo Farms has amazing salads! Outlet stores are a plus.

I like the selection of stores and the parking is easy. The only problem I faced was a lack of food options. My advice is to bring food or eat before you go. If your blood sugar drops, the only food nearby is at the gas station or Starbucks.

This place is the Best place to go shopping . It’s so much fun!! Movie’s, candy shops, places to eat and more. You can buy so many cute clothing items. From shoes, Jewelry also places to eat and simply just enjoy life. It’s perfect for every occasion and seasonal event especially when you’re looking for something new to wear. Tulare outlet’s definitely has the store your probably looking for.

The Columbia store had all my needs and even went out of their way to help me find what I was looking for for my upcoming trip. Same thing with COACH. Was welcomed warmly and then assisted with everything that I needed.

We love shopping here. Besides having a huge selection of shops with massive savings, this place is always so clean! Even the bathrooms are well maintained. My typical go-to stores are Osh Kosh and Vans for my child; Van Heusen, Gap and Calvin Klein for the adults and Coach and Zales Outlet for special occasions. There's a store for everyone.

These Outlets have quite a few stores to choose from and it is very well kept and always looking clean. They do have a theater within the outlets and they have a few places to eat but a huge selection. They almost seem more like snacks but hopefully they bring a restaurant and in the future. The biggest stores are most likely Tommy Hilfiger as well as Nike and Converse and possibly vans but it just depends on what you want or what you're looking for.

I came out of town for the leap year promition and I'm sad to say there was a note on the door that says that the promotion was no longer happening. When yet the flyer says that it ends at 5pm. They did not specify it was only while supplies lasted and but they were allowing customers to get multiple gift cards rather than havinng a fair system where everyone got one. This was absolutely ridiculous!!

I love going to the Chocolate Factory I like the Vans store I like all the clothing store it just feels always Christmassy or briskier something over there during the fall and in the winter put on your boots get on your sweaters just to walk around and sit on a bench and eat ice cream or people watch it's pretty cool we have Forever 21 and their cells are off the charts especially for winter they have like blankets for sweaters like 10 bucks it's awesome and keep you warm all winter long thanks and enjoy as much as I have

Stayed in an RV here. Excellent sites with fire pit, fairly easy to maneuver inside the park, very friendly and excellent staff. All RV sites come with a picnic table and fire pit. Quiet, friendly park. My ONLY issue was the hot water in the showers took about 5 mins to come on and the water pressure was terrible.

We only stayed for one night and it was totally fine! I do agree the bathrooms could use some updating. When we got our little map from the office, we noticed they had a pizza place on there that said they delivered to the campground. We were exhausted so we decided to just do that. But when I called, they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. It was called Mountain Mike's. I kept saying we were at the KOA campground and he kept asking me what hotel or apartment we were in. 🤣

This is a great RV park and staff was great, but my family picked this for camping and as a camping experience this is the worst KOA I've been to. The campground size was tiny with very little shade. The ground was mostly ants before we even got to any food and it was loud at night making sleep difficult.

Great location - easy off the freeway. All the sites have a lot of grass which was nice as we just came from an Arizona trip where there wasn't any grass!. Nice pull thru sites and the dog run was big and it also had grass. Well maintained. There is a train that was nearby and two trains went through but other than that it was very quiet.

Great little place! It's more in townish but the area Itself seems pretty safe. Camping section is clean and organized! The koa has decent amenities but if you're coming without kid's and don't mind being in town a little its a great place to stay😁

Heather is a GREAT KOA Office Manager! She was cheerful, helpful, and kind. She was a delight to work with today. The park is open, tidy, and well-located. I loved the roses and daisies lining the entrance as we drove into the park.

Nice place to stay overnight. Not sure I'd want to stay long-term. Lady that checked is in was SUPER nice and we had an easy pull-through. We didn't really have any issues, but we weren't wowed. The guy next to us had a smoking fire that was all over our rig and no one said anyone. Saw an RV with a boot on it and the owner wearing ankle bracelet. Not something that makes you feel at home.

The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. My family and I stayed in a cabin with no restroom. It was really nice and well maintained. The location is right off the freeway, used to be in the country, now surrounded by a development. With that being said, you get the park feeling while camping very close to amenities. Great experience for a night or two.

Staff was awesome. Location and getting to it was an experience. GPS in the truck had us going down a very questionable road. You can tell there were some long term residents there. Staff was very upfront on a water issue that they had and kept us well informed.

The deluxe cabin was a big disappointment. Not clean, sofa was to small, dirty and broken, slider door was broken, coffe pot was filthy. The place needed a deep cleaning ect, ect. Poor location surrounded by noisy home owners. Not a reflection of a true KOA campground. We definitely over paid. Would not recommend the park to anyone.

We are here for the duration of a travel job.The entire management team are “ the best”Professional in the daily tasks, yet friendly, funny and do absolutely anything & everything needed to make a wonderful stay!!We definitely recommend for a short or longer stay: they do accommodate!!

Nasty restrooms. Filthy broken shower doubles as a sauna because the A/C was not on. Needs paint and maintenance and so much more..... I cannot believe KOA lets them keep their franchise. Do not stay here unless there are no other options and you cannot drive any further. $75 a night for this dump is ridiculous.

The camp wasn't that good but the cats were nice. Some cats wouldn't come near and others would but were still scared. You can pet the cats and they are very soft. If you like cats then this is a pretty good place.

Nice place for transit on a trip. Pool closed in October, restrooms clean and nice hot water. One idea is please put a recycling bin near the camp sink! We had to wash our bottles, etc, then traipse to the other side of the ground to recycle!

Site was a little short for our 44 ft 5th wheel and truck. Luckily, the site beside us was empty so we parked there.Just a 45 minute drive to the AMAZING Kings Canyon & Sequoia National parks.

Passing through this was a fine place to sleep for the night, but for the price of $70 for just water and electric (when we typically stay at very nice holiday KOAs for the same rate) - we felt disappointed with our stay. The bathrooms were clean-ish, but there were still cobwebs and very DIY. In the men’s room, you would step on loose tile that would squish water up through it. For the price point, we expected professionally renovated bathrooms. Sites are on gravel and pretty close together with no privacy. Within the park there was noise late into the night that sounded like an ice cream truck and we could hear the nearby train throughout the night. In summary, for the experience we should’ve stayed at the Love’s down the road rather than spend the money here.

Just went here to purchase propane and dump the holding tanks, close to home for me. Can tell you though management very friendly and helpful. I saw them serve a camper coming in when I went inside to pay. If going to the Sequoias, would say this is a good place to camp before heading up. Do want to mention though if you are not accustomed to Valley summers make sure your A/C works.

Short trip but we had fun. Nice campgrounds,clean facilities, decently quiet area for being more in the city. Good for a rest stop on a road trip. Friendly staff, pet friendly.

Not one of the best KOA; not one of the worst. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We’ve come here many times over the years and love the experience. The staff is friendly and the tour guides are knowledgeable about the cats. They take their time at each enclosure and make sure that you have opportunity to learn and ask questions. Keep in mind that the trail through the tour is not paved in all areas and goes down and up steep hills throughout. You will want to wear comfortable shoes that have good grip because it’s easy to slip in the dirt in some parts of the trail. Whether you’re a local or traveling through to Kings Canyon Park this is a great place to visit.

We had such a great time! Experience is incredible. I highly recommend. All of the cats are happy and healthy! It seemed to me like they actually enjoy being visited. Our tour guide was very well spoken and knowledgeable. Trail is sometimes steep, sometimes rocky so wear comfy shoes. Well worth the money. It's a great experience!

A very informative place about big cats. I brought my 1 year old daughter and she enjoyed the strolled around this place. It's like walking a trail in a loop. The terrain is for beginners but can be a bit difficult if bringing a stroller. My favorite is the tiger. She or he (I forgot) was gorgeous!

Helpful and knowledgeable staff take you on a tour that lasts approx 1 hrs 15mins. The cats all appear to be happy and healthy. You can tell the staff both respect and love these animals. And when they say to not cross the barriers, that means not even a pinky. Would recommend for others to check this place out.

My husband and I stumbled across the project survival cat haven on our way to Yosemite National Park. I saw the signs, and knew we needed to detour lol. We wanted to go on the tour of the sanctuary, but it lasted at least an hour (maybe 1 1/2 hours, can’t remember), and we had very limited time to see Yosemite.The guided tour was under $20 each for adults.Without even entering the actual sanctuary, you are able to view several wild cats, including a tiger. From a not so distant view, they all seemed comfortable, healthy, and happy.They had a great gift shop, which we were happy to shop at in support of the sanctuary.The staff members that we talked to were very informative, and happy to answer any questions and provide info on the feline residents. You could hear and see their passion for what they do.I very much recommend stopping here, and checking out the events and tours that they hold.Side note: everything that I saw and viewed was free. Only the tour portion required tickets. So if you have 30 minutes at least, you can have a great experience for free, and maybe get some great gifts in the process!Date of visit: June 8, 2023

Love this place. This was my 2nd visitm. There's an awesome, hour long tour that's the perfect stop before heading home. The cats are beautiful. It's amazing hear their stories and see them so well cared for.

This is a wonderful 501 (c) (3) organization that educates the public about big cats at their cat haven and uses the funds to help preserve big cats in the wild. Well informed staff that takes you on 1/4 mile walking tours of their animals. Disability tours available if you contact them in advance.

We went to Cat Haven today and absolutely loved it!! All of the cats seemed very happy and healthy, and the staff was outstanding! Our tour guide (I forget her name, but she had red curly hair, and a nose piercing) was SO polite and knowledgeable. She gave us the exact experience we were hoping for! I will always support a facility that supports cats, especially when they are so good with customers and the health and safety of the animals they are protecting. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

It's definitely worth the drive! Seeing all of these beautiful cats and learning about them is fun for the whole family! I love that they are non-profit, and all the kitties are rescued!

We went for the full day VIP package as a gift to my financeé. She called it one of the best gifts ever. If you can afford that package, I would highly recommend it. You need to schedule in advance, but the staff was very helpful coordinating and answering all of my questions. If you can't do VIP or don't schedule in advance, it was readily apparent that the daily tours for general admission were also very cool.All of the staff clearly love what they do and the animals. All of the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. All of the staff had a lot of knowledge and enjoyed answering my questions..., even when I was rapid firing random questions during the different experiences.

This place turned out to be a delightful surprise! During our trip to Sequoia National Park, we spotted the sign and decided to make a stop. From the moment we entered the door, we were greeted by the most welcoming and friendly staff. The admission fee of $16 per person was well worth it for the fantastic experience.One aspect worth noting is that all the tours are guided, providing valuable insights into the facility and the amazing cats they care for. However, it's essential to be prepared for some physical activity as you'll be walking on rough terrains with both steep uphill and downhill sections. Don't forget to bring plenty of water to stay hydrated, especially during the summer, and consider carrying a mister to keep cool and apply sunscreen.The different cats you get to see and learn about made the adventure truly memorable. I am already looking forward to returning and would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family. It's an experience that shouldn't be missed!

Amazing! We had an incredible experience on our tour. I’ve never been so close to so many wild cats - this is truly a special place where you have the opportunity to really feel the presence of these amazing animals. Our docent was very knowledgeable, friendly, and provided just the right amount of information. The public tour is the perfect length (~60 min) and feels very intimate and special. The gift shop is great with lots of opportunities to support the conservation work being done here. The trail is mostly dirt and can be fairly steep at times. Not stroller-friendly. If you are bringing littles under 4, be prepared to wear or carry them. We will absolutely be returning soon!!

The dinning area is really nice. Very family friendly. A little on the expensive side but not going to blow your budget. Didn't have many ice cream flavors at the moment but since it's close to summer that might change. Liked the gift shop, had tons of cute items such as: toys for kids, candy tons of candy, funny postcards, and tons of items to remember your trip to Traver. They had some animals: a llama, a goat, 2 donkeys, 2 chickens, a pig, 3 bunnies, 2 quails (I think),a parakeet?, and a PEAco*ck 🦚!! The only thing I don't like is that you can't really interact with many of the animals, it's understandable for the safety of the children, but it would be better to get a little closer. Really nice area to spend a couple of hours with your family.I'm Carlos Dominguez, and I approve this message. 👌

So much to say about this place!! First of all, they have an amazing assortment of different salami's, I got the herb de Provence, and I would've grabbed more if I hadn't been about to travel. I originally pulled over because it said it was a cheese shop, and I happen to love cheese, but in the end because we were driving and I had another 7 or so hours of driving left, only bought non perishable goods. They also have a lot of things made nearby, they had some really awesome nuts, I picked up the cappuccino almonds as well as some toffee pecans. There's also an area where you can buy fresh made fudge that's absolutely amazing!! They offer samples and each of the employees there was super nice. Out in the back area, there is a treehouse that's stupidly high, it took me over 30 seconds to climb to the top and I do not recommend it for claustrophobic people, but it was absolutely fantastic!! I had a lot of fun going to the top, personally. In the back, there's a little petting farm sort of situation where you can pay quarters to feed the animals, there is a donkey as well as a pig and some roosters, peaco*ck and rabbits, as well as we saw a cat walking around, though she seemed to have no interest in us. There is a miniature "shooting" range game, an area to pan for gold/other items and a tiny play ground for the kiddies. There's also a restaurant there on site but we had literally just eaten beforehand so unfortunately, we didn't stop there, but it looked large, clean and like a great place for a family meal. If I'm ever back in this direction for whatever reason, I will definitely stop in again.

Fun, eclectic stop in the middle of nowhere. Plenty to see and do for both adults and children and children, and there is also a small dog park for your 4 legged family member. Bring quarters for the petting zoo, and you will be some sheep and goats best friend! Watch out for the Lama though, he spits! There in an antique barn, a huge shop with plenty of souvenirs and snacks, nice restroom facilities, a fudge shop, restaurant, and a multi-story tree house out back.

Great stop for FAMILIES on the way to camping kings canyon from Southern California. Found this place after one stop a few years ago and it’s a great place for kids to poke around and pet/feed some unusually clean farm animals. Rabbits, llama, chicken, a bird or two, and a couple of mules?/mini donkeys?There’s inside seating and outside seating. Outside seating has full sun and some shade with mist machines for those who need a break.They have also built a small dog obstacle course outside that has gate. Not as big as a dog park but something is better than nothing! Probably great for medium to smaller dogs.Parking can be tight during lunch hours but there’s plenty and an additional gravel lot next to the large barn.Inside there’s so many treasures, gifts, and candies for kids to adults. Literally all types of gifts from board games to wooden sling shots to wonky mother-law-signs for the yard.Bathrooms are relatively clean, considering the amount of people that go through there. For males, there’s only a single stall for #2 so ….maybe try the several other gas stations if you really gotta do the dooty.

The best supercharger we stopped at on our road trip! A super fast and not busy charge and bravo farms was fantastic! The food from the restaurant was great and so was the cheese!

Driving down Highway 99 just out of Bakersfield heading towards Fresno, I saw a bunch of signs about shopping at Bravo Farms. They definitely got my attention but really poorly got my attention was a sign that said petting zoo. In that moment I knew I had to stop by so that mom can go and pet some goats.It’s easy to find right off the highway on the side of the road. Plenty of parking, including handicap parking. Oh and there’s an antique shop off to the right behind the store. But first go through those shop doors and visit the gift shop no matter who’s on your list no matter how hard they are to shop for, you will find something for everybody. There is a restaurant and saloon and a chocolate shop to make a mouth water but the best is yet to come…….First creature we came upon was a peaco*ck, magnificent bird finally posed for a picture after picking at his feathers, trying to bathe himself. Just beyond that was a pig and I mean a huge pig! Then off to the left were the goats. Oh my gravy, the goats! I’m telling you no matter how old you are 2 to a 100 —I’m telling you petting a goat will make the child within giggle and feel so alive and free no matter where you have been in life. Truly it’s the simple things in life that really matter. If you agree with that statement alone, please like this review with s thumbs up and make your own statement by doing so.Every trip we make for the Central Valley will include a pit stop off at Bravo Farms. The heart yearns for it, the soul calls for it, but we definitely need it. Thank God for places like Bravo Farms.

Nice spot to stop and stretch your legs and get some yummy goodies. Plenty of truck parking. We got several cheeses and jams, glass bottle milk and Easter egg nog. Everything we've tasted so far has been delicious. It is pricey, but to be expected these days, I wish they had cheese samples though.The bathrooms are nice, big and clean. Go out back to find a treehouse you can climb to the second story that overlooks the petting zoo animals. The slide down was unexpectedly fast lol. Don't forget the poor sheep they are next to the Tesla chargers and they were very happy for scratches. Nice little dog walk over there too.We walked across the street for Indian (which was great!) but the restaurant there smelled and looked good too, we'll try it next time.

We stopped to use the Tesla superchargers & found this awesome Gem! Go inside so much cute stuff. Great for kids, ice cream, quick bites & cute gifts to have for keepsakes. Oh & all the yummy cheese!

Bravo Farms is so much fun. I love cheese. This garlic jack is so creamy and delicious. The fudge is perfect. They have a great selection of jams, cheeses, candy and gifts. Stop by.

I have been stopping here for at least 10 years. LOVE the upgrades they have made!Today I tried the breakfast (usually get lunch) and was pleasantly suprised. The meal was not only plentiful but the price was perfect! ( just under $16 for meal and drink) The pancakes were at least 2 palms big (plus see the pic for how thick they were) and there had to be at least 4 eggs in the scramble!The grounds are always well kept, the restrooms always clean and stocked, and the animals always look healthy and happy.

Cool roadside attraction with lots of things for everyone.The petting zoo and kids play area is nice for stretching the legs.That's with most roadside attractions, everything is pretty expensive, but it's cool that the kids can play for free and you can get a decent meal.

Cool location with a tree house, small farm animals, antique boutique, and ok at best food. The food was pricy and as stated just "ok"; so I don't recommend eating there. $35 (+ tip for them to just ring up my order at the counter) for a pulled pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich. The meat at the highest point in each sandwich was 3/8"! I believe I later saw it was 4 oz of meat - sad!!! The meat didn't have a smoked flavor and/or any BBQ sauce to liven it up. They did give you 2 oz of bland coleslaw or 2oz of some type of mixed beans (both were not good and not eaten).The food took away 2 stars or it would have been 5!!In short, go for the atmosphere, antiques, cheese, and trinkets but NOT for the food!!!

Super neat place to stop and visit if you are driving along the 99 highway. Once you enter, there is a little gift shop and store where you can buy all these different treats and cheeses. What I really loved was the really cool 7 story treehouse that you can climb inside of. They also have a little animal feeding spot where you can pay a minimal fee of $1 or so to feed the sheep. My daughter and I spent a couple hours browsing around the gift shop and interacting with the animals. Would stop by again if passing through again.

Burger tasted great, which, for costing $25, it damn well better.Especially after witnessing their SAMPLE-PORTIONED SIDES, with all 12 of my campfire beans being downed in one shot during unbeknownst fasting.No drink, no way.Did pay nearly $10 for a micro 3.oz habanero cheddar loaf that tasted okay.Also, dont make the mistake of grabbing a menu and finding a booth to wait for service.... it'll NEVER COME...idk why they even put the menus out for people to grab, it's misleading.Check the pic to see what $30 gets one person.

Super clean bathrooms, lots of room to park. Lot's of room to walk around and plenty of stuff to look at. Expensive tourist stop items. Plus cheese, fudge and really good Rosa 🍨 ice cream!!! Staff completely ignored me, even tried to smile and say Hi to the employee at the fudge counter and get her attention but she was involved in the cash register. No one at ice cream counter when I was there. ( My son ended up getting the absolutely delicious ice cream for us)No prices on drinks and such so I stopped looking.Cute dog area too!!

Bravo Farms where you can just go visit and have a good time. Enjoy The tasty snacks and treats they have to offer!

We love the zoo! We buy the yearly memberships and go at least once a month. All of the upgrades they have done and exhibits they have added are amazing! All of the food is awesome as well!

We arrived on a weekday and it was packed with school field trips. The lines weren’t long to enter for general admission. My family and I were able to walk around in a 3-4 hour time span to see all of the different animal exhibits. Our favorite animal attraction was seeing the bright, and colorful pink flamingos in their natural habitat. It was also quite an experience getting real up close to feed the giraffes.Overall, it is a beautifully kept zoo grounds. The staff were inviting and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions or help with guidance around the park. My family and I will definitely be returning and getting ourselves a yearly membership.I would really recommend coming to this zoo!

Lots of improvements have been made and there is construction currently for more amazing things to come. We went on a class trip, first one since the pandemic began. Visited on a Monday morning and it was perfect, no lines to go in, no waiting for exhibits. Definitely recommend grabbing lunch by the safari since the food is being freshly prepared and the prices are reasonable.

We love the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. This little zoo has grown and grown, adding wonderful exhibits and valuable family entertainment. We went to see the new exhibit Kingdoms of Asia. This is absolutely worth the visit. The new tiger habitats are large and the animals have space to roam around. The viewing areas are easy to use, wheelchair accessible and roomy. There are more new exhibits coming... I can't wait to see what they do next.

We always enjoy ourselves at the Chaffee Zoo! I especially LOVED the Butterfly exhibit. I was in aaaww to the point of a sore jaw. The holiday decor is BIG & COLORFUL with twinkling lights galore. Magical to the eyes...

There are lots of animals to view at this large zoo. You can pay an extra small fee to touch stingrays and feed the giraffes. You can be really near kangaroos and emu. They just ask not to touch or feed them.You need a minimum of 4 hours to get through almost everything without rushing. There are multiple areas to take pictures. I went when they were setting up illumniNature so there were extra props to take pictures with.There are some vending machines, some food establishments and a souvenir shop. I did not get to eat there, but one of the food establishments had a beautiful view near the elephants.Restrooms are at the entrance once you pay to enter.For toddler parents: There is a large park near the zoo but no nearby restrooms, and when I asked to quickly use one nearby the zoo. The admission employee said no one could enter until we paid for our admission, even though family members were already at the register paying.The restrooms by the entrance are not very clean, but supplies are well stocked. One stall even had poop smeared all over the floor, and one of the soap dispensers was broken. The restroom in Kingdoms of Asia area is just one toilet, so it may be a wait, but it is very clean and well stocked.

My wife and I take our daughter to the zoo every year and we LOVE going. The staff is always friendly and the environment is always nice, clean and preserved. It seems like every year we go there is more see than the previous times. Its an amazing family time and beautiful animals to see.

Loved the zoo but getting in was kinda ridiculous. We bought a membership and there was only about 3 families in front of us yet it took almost an hour. When we got to the window it took us about 3 minutes to activate our membership. Not sure what took the rest of the first groups so long.The zoo itself was quite nice, while a little small. The exhibits were well placed with a lot of areas to view the animals. Would have been 4 stars if we didn't have such a bad experience just getting in.

I take my boys an average once a month here. We live an hour away but this place is always amazing I have never had a bad experience here. They do amazing holiday themed events my absolute favorite themed event was for Christmas. I have never seen a zoo go above and beyond for their patrons. The Christmas lights were stunning they had to put at least a week or more putting everything up, they had a free picture with Santa they also had hot chocolate with some yummy fireball for adults and extra activities for the kids. Even on none holiday events they do wonders. This place is always clean no trash anywhere their bathrooms are always clean and smell good. Their workers are always super nice. Just have zero complaints and that's rare for me. I will continue to have a membership to this zoo! It also beats the San Francisco zoo and that's hard for any zoo to do..

I was pleasantly surprised on how nice the zoo is for being in Fresno. Once they finish the new are at the end of May 2023 it will be even better. We went on a Monday so was very empty, which was nice. It did get hot but there is a decent amount of shade around the park except for the Africa side of the park. Lots of cool animals and exhibits I did not get photos of. The Africa exhibit is pretty incredible and woth the food court right there with a bunch of different options of freshly made food as well as beer/wine options, all set with outdoor seating with an incredible view of the open Africa exhibit; it was pretty amazing. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or visiting. No complaints here. Great for kids and adults.

The zoo is a great place to visit. The measure Z money has made this place amazing. Go see the tigers the enclosure is huge and it’s so great to see these animals have room to roam. The Asian animals area is beautiful and the art was selected with input from the local south East Asian community.

Perfect for families and children! This zoo stands out with its newest renovations like it’s Kingdoms of Asia! It seemed like a Disney adventure through Indiana Jones! Kids loved it! Seems like they are constructing other great areas with some areas closed down or shut off.Big positive was the many shaded areas and places to eat. They had a wonderful large shaded area to have lunch and look at the large Savannah animals of Africa!Tickets were easy at the kiosk but be aware that parking is smattered and the later you arrive the further the walk to front entrance. Realize that general admission ticket does not include the sting ray exhibit and butterfly exhibit.

Have been here several times and I am happy to see all the improvements they are making. Habitats are much more natural. Less looking through bars. They just expanded their entire Asia section and it's really cool! A few areas are still under construction. It's awesome you can interact with some of the animals. You can walk through the kangaroo pen now. You can feed giraffes, pet and feed stingrays. My only complaint is that both of these activities cost extra. They added a butterfly garden which looks lovely, but this too costs extra. If you don't want to pay more than the entry fee you can still have a lovely time, but just be prepared to dish out some extra cash if feeding the animals is something you really want to do. I fed the giraffes once and it was a really cool experience. Also there is an extra fee of $5 or so for parking for the day. Overall, it's worth a visit.

One of the best zoos I've been to. Just the right size, clean, everything worked, staff was friendly, restrooms were clean, food and souvenirs weren't too expensive but most of all every exhibit that was open (a few were closed for renovations) was well organized and the animals looked healthy. We saw more animals close up than I've ever seen at even the San Diego zoo! Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my! And let's not forget the stingray petting/feeding and giraffe feeding.I highly recommend this zoo for a family day trip. Totally worth the time and cost.

I went to see the zoo lights and it was very beautiful. There was a lot to see and some animals were out, such as the flamingo, red lemurs, and stingrays (which you can touch for free). I’m not sure for the butterfly exhibit since I wasn’t able to pass by there.They had one or two shops open, also the cafe. Overall, the walk is 2-3 hours but I’d say it’s worth because there is so much to see and lots of pictures to take with the lights.

Such a great zoo, if you’re in the area it’s worth a visit.One of our first stops was the reptile building. We loved it. So many amazing animals to see.We made our way through the park and eventually began the, “African Adventure”. It’s an amazing area with a lot to see. The sheer size of the area and the amount of animals to see is wonderful. Feeding the giraffes is so worth the price. My son couldn’t stop giggling as the majestic and gentle creatures ate from his hand.All the exhibits were great, we made sure to check everything out as we made our way through the rest of zoo. I would definitely recommend this zoo to anyone in the area looking for a place to spend a day.The Winged Wonders Bird Show was another hit for us. Overall a great experience and well worth every penny. We had lunch at the Kopje Cafe/Lodge and while the wait time was a little long and it was a little pricey (it’s a local attraction so obviously prices are a little high), the food was great and staff was friendly.Again, this zoo is well worth the visit.

We loved the Zoo very clean and well kept. There is a lot of areas for little ones to play and the bird show was fun yet short. If its too cold some animals will not be in display. It took us three hours to walk around and see everything. Very kid friendly and awesome for them to see very different animals close by.

This is one of Fresno’s true treasures. It’s so well designed and themed. The vistas for the animals are great. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Brian who followed up on an item I lost. He was part of a really nice team that helped with that.

Visiting Fresno Chaffee Zoo was an amazing experience! Every exhibit was captivating, the staff was friendly, and the size was just right. The admission prices were unbeatable, making it accessible for everyone. The Kingdom of Asia was breathtaking, and the African Adventure with the rhinos felt like a journey to Africa. My kids absolutely loved it - it was truly an unforgettable visit!

Love this kind of Library! It's so nice and big and it has more space to it like the quite room, the children's room is more bigger and It has lots of computers when it get on the internet. Wish I could go back again someday when it's more convenient.

Located in North Fresno, on Perrin ave. Woodward Park Regional Library is very big, clean, and has an arsenal of information and equipment for public use. Open Monday-Thursday 9am-9pm Friday&Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 12:00pm-5pm. There is a very spacious patio as well as a kids section. Plenty of computers and fax/copy machines. For someone who is trying to study, this place is ideal, but it doesn't feel like that is always the case. Very roomy and friendly feel where you can keep to yourself and study, but their are a lot of kids and sometimes they can cry a lot. Also the internet wifi is plain not good here; it is very slow and it takes a long time to load up pages and links on my laptop and phone

Great collection. The computer system for finding books works beautifully. There are several different types of spaces available for groups and a very pleasant children’s library. Easily accessible.

This place is great! Lots of room. Staff is excellent, helpful. The library in general is a fabulous, whether it is an audio book or real book. They have cd's and video games. Magazines ect. They have a quiet room. The kids area is separated.

This is my absolute favorite library in Fresno county! It's always clean, in a good area, lots of free parking spaces, and the employees are super helpful, patient, caring, and seem to really love their jobs! The library also has many events going on, is colorfully decorated, and feels homey. There's an entire section for kids that's well lit with natural lighting and there's little computers and desks for them to work on. Adorable!!! I could go on and on about this place, but I highly recommend you check it out yourself.

We went last year. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient, and very approachable. (Can't remember his name) The magnitude of what one person was capable of accomplishing, if you look closely, is astounding. Decades of dedication for his vision. All of the staff were friendly. The grounds were immaculate and very beautiful. The rose gardens above ground were lovely. We will go again, absolutely!

Never in my wildest dreams would I expect a part of such interesting history to find in - Fresno.The story of one man’s dream and never giving up told through underground mazes and citrus trees.The words and pictures won’t do this place justice. If you’re nearby make sure to spend a few hours learning about this amazing place and how it came to be.The guides are very knowledgeable. Highly recommend it!

This place is an amazing gem and piece of history. The tour guide was incredible and she was so patient with our kids in a pretty big group. The amazing underground gardens are something to behold. The tree grafting is unbelievable. This is a great story of an Italian immigrant working extremely hard to make their dream come true.

On a really hot day in Fresno it's good to go underground because it's about 10 degrees cooler. The gardens are great but the architecture that this Italian created almost single handed is absolutely fantastic. The labyrinth that he designed was more impressive to me than the gardens themselves and the way that he was able to integrate them.

Tour guide was super friendly and nice. Also knowledgeable about the place. I want to taste the fruit on those trees ☹️☹️☹️. I think tour people will buy some fruit from the tree to taste if they sell it. Sadly, they don't. It would also be nice to have a night tour when it's dark 👻. Over all, worth it.

Katie was an awesome guide. It is so incredible to see what one man can do. The whole family really enjoyed themselves which is rare with teens but it's impossible not to be amazed and inspired. Purchase your tickets in advance online and there are plenty of different start times. Even in a warm 90⁰ day it was pleasant.

One of the best experiences I've ever had! Was meaning to visit long time ago but for one thing or another it didn't happened. This time I actually visited with my military son and my teenager daughter. We all enjoyed this experience and will totally recommend to everyone to visit when in Fresno ♡

How do you even review a place like this? This place is completely unique, like nothing I've ever seen or experienced before. The physical place plus the incredibly inspiring story behind it, the way it just keeps going and going, it's an incredible man-made miracle. Our tour guide was excellent, too - I forget his name but he's in my photos here and he was SO nice, such a great speaker, very knowledgeable, and really made the experience extra special for us. I can't stop raving about this place, it's probably the best and most interesting thing in the city of Fresno. Heck, it's a highlight for the whole state of California. Amazing, breathtaking place.

Wow! If I could leave a one word review it would be this. I typically don’t love guided tours but Rhanda brought these underground gardens to life with a lively, well informed and thoughtful journey through the wondrous underground works of Baldessare Forestiere. Whatever pictures you might have seen do not do it justice. If you have spare time, the Punjabi market and quick restaurant located on the lot just east is another great stop. We made it a day trip from the East Bay - it was a lot of driving but doable. Wish we had more time to explore Fresno, but we’ll be back. Thanks to everyone keeping Forestiere Gardens alive for the enjoyment of and inspiration to the world. ❤️❤️❤️

We went here as walk-ins without a reservation and got on a tour starting within 6 mins. Our tour guide was Sarah and she was so perfect and made the experience so interesting. The only critique is I wish she’d remind people as we went along the tour to not touch the walls because people started getting lazy, leaning and putting their shoes on the walls as we were standing around. They should also know how to say those phrases in Spanish since over half of our group spoke Spanish.It was quite a unique experience and we got lots of pictures.

Absolutely amazing place to visit! 100% recommend going even if it’s hot outside! We went for a 9:30 am tour, and even when it got to over 100 degrees outside it was still relatively cool down in the gardens, especially once we got down to the lower level. The architecture is incredible, and hearing the history of one man doing it all was so fascinating. Our tour guide was so sweet and incredibly knowledgeable. She was very sweet to my boyfriends sister who is claustrophobic, making sure to warn us before we went through a small space, assuring us we’d be in an open area soon, and offering to have someone guide us back to the gift shop to get some air and water if it got to be too much. Luckily it wasn’t too much and we were able to enjoy the whole tour! We went with our 8 month old baby in a carrier and she had just as much fun as we did looking around at everything. The place is absolutely beautiful and I look forward to coming back with my parents the next time they visit us in Fresno!

Absolutely amazing place; excellent tour guides who are very knowledgeable. You cannot self-guide, so make sure to get a reservation ahead of time if it’s the busy season or weekends. We went on a Thursday and we’re able to get on a tour group happening soon after we arrived, but don’t chance it otherwise. What an amazing story, so many years of hard work, botanical wonder and a historical gem.

Vintage Steak house locates within Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino.It is a high end classic steak house pack with generous portion of meats, steak, lamb , pork, chicken.The food quality is great, the buttermilk shrimp is tender and crunchy. One small thing I would like to pick on is there is a decent amount of leftover oil, if the oil is drained, it might be better.The lamp that I had is tender and cook to perfection.For the prime prime rib that my wife had, it is tender, pink and juicy.The overall service and dinning environment are great. I wish the server response could be a touch quicker. We waited a good 5-10 minutes before the server came and pick up the credit card and wrap up the night.

Love this Casino its Great has a bit of everything ( wish they’d bring the buffet back) everyone is great. Chance my host he is great , he is always looking to make my stay better. I get free Hotel rooms , works out great because hate having to drive back home late at night. Can enjoy few beers while playing slots or cards. I love Chuckchansi Casino and so will you. Room wasn't the cleanest. The sink had dried coffee stains, one of the towels had hair on it. The room smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. We picked chukchansi because it's only about an hr and a half from Yosemite Valley and it claims to be kid friendly meaning they have something for kids. The arcade is closed down and the man who checked us into our room said he doesn't believe it will re open. He said there's a pool though.The only things I liked was the quiet location, the security, and the restaurant we ate at wasn't to bad.An arcade or movie theater would have made the trip better.

From beginning to end I was welcomed and greeted with the utmost courtesy and respect. The staff was polite and joyous and seemed to be greatly concerned for all my needs and comfort. The rooms were clean and tidy with the most incredible view of the plush green rolling Foothills. My room had all the amenities of a luxury suite. Big screen TV alarm clock ironing board hair dryer and fully supplied with basic hygiene and cosmetic amenities. It also had a well working quiet central heating and air conditioning unit which created a comfortable and stress-free atmosphere of relaxation. I look forward to a long and prosperous with chukchansi casino and resort I highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

When I hit the jackpot that was so fun I don't always have the luck....Food is wonderful, especially like the place where you can go. Get a hot dog and the manager it's just wonderful.Sometimes the smoke is a little bit heavier. We love to eat at their cafe. Friendly service and the best Country fried steak in the entire area. Slots are tight. Drinks are plentiful. Nice servers, slot attendants, valet team, cashier's and security. Masks are optional!!!!

Went for the day to play and eat. Unfortunately all the good food options open until 5pm. We ate at Deuces instead it was okay nothing amazing but the service was nice. The casino is always a nice and laid back experience. The drive up is beautiful as well very scenic!

This resort is lovely! We are from the East Coast and were here for the parks, but were thrilled to stumble across this wonderful resort! We did not stay, but we certainly did play. The casino was large and had lots and lots of new and older games. A number of excellent choices for dining as well. Don't miss the chance to visit!!!

The location is beautiful, in the mountains and away from the city. The service was extraordinary from check-in, to check-out, and everything in between. The service on the casino floors and in the restaurants was also fantastic. Unfortunately, the room was dirty. I found a clump of hair on our headboard, and weird splatters all over the bathroom walls. I also found white, dried stuff in the corner by the bed. I informed the front desk, but they did not seem bothered or surprised by this. The bed also wasn't comfortable. Also, there was supposed to be no smoking in the hotel rooms, but so many guests were smoking in the rooms.

I like this place better than table mountain. They gave me $40 food certificate and a T shirt for my birthday and I have 2 free nights in the hotel! They have a lot of games, I saw a lot of servers walking around for drinks. I won some and lost some, as we know how gambling goes!

Nice casino, good selection of slots and table games. Clean and tidy. Lots of people very busy. Some wear masks most don't. Some eating places are not open all the time apparently. Mostly retired folk it seemed. Ample parking and a helicopter pad if you have one. Temp check on entry. Hotel also available call them for prices. No live craps table, do have one automated craps table like Vegas does but only one not like Vegas does. Friendly staff, grumpy patrons that don't smile back when you say hello so not sure why they are not having fun. Smoke is thick in the air as they allow it indoors but ventilation could be better it was just hanging around at face level.

The casino area is fun and alive. The card area staff needs to lighten up. They look mad or annoy. Fake a smile at least and just go with the flow. People are there to have fun and to win money to keep coming back. Beautiful resort. Just need to find the right slot for a jackpot. 😃

Great place to stay if you're visiting Bass Lake or Yosemite! Obviously, it's a bit smoky inside like any casino, so know that before you go. 😉 Great restaurants, love the wanton soup at the noodle place, the breakfast is great at Goldfields as well. Good drinks at the center bar and great rooms. Just wish there was a party pool/spa like the luxury resorts have with a swim up bar, music, or something that would be great!

Celebrated my husbands birthday ate at the steakhouse 10/10 delicious. Room was clean and comfortable. Security was great at hotel everyone had to show ID and room keys before entering elevator.. as always everyone was friendly. Thank you will return soon

I love how friendly the staff are and the rooms are very comfortable. I just wish they would add more for the entire family so you don’t have to leave anyone at home because they don’t gamble or not old enough and so they are not restricted to staying in a room or just swimming. after visiting red hawk I saw the amazing things the casinos can have for the entire family including the kids.

Great location considering I adore the mountains. Good food at almost each spot within the facility. Good atmosphere and layout. Super nice day spa options and the Jacuzzi and pool to spend time in are great.

The suites are very clean, nice and have all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. There is a variety of restaurant options and they all have great food! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. When we aren’t in Vegas or Reno/Tahoe, Chukchansi is close enough to home for a quick overnight stay. The comps are generous. This makes the less lucky gambling trips much more bearable. Two suggestions to the management would be, 1.) Better, louder music to make the vibe more of a place to “Feel the Fun!” 2.) Updated Keno options, which are available at most other casinos.

They were bottling their most popular Moscato. I felt very lucky to be following her around and hearing the stories and the history of this gem of a Winery.Mind you, it is probably much too out of the way to make a 'special' trip here, but if you are in the area or going to be going to Yosemite or leaving Yosemite and headed this way, SWING BY!The tasting was free.We tried two Wines, two Moscatos, and a Port.She led us through some of the information, tastes, flavors, aging process etc. about each selection of wine which enhanced the experience.I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed it!The tasting and tour was quick, but the impression this place has made, were ever-lasting. Definitely one of my favorite Winery's.We bought two Moscatos and one Wine. I wanted the Port, but we will probably make a run to the local liquor shop to get that after we exhaust these 3 bottles.We hope you try this place and enjoy it, too!

Went for wine tasting, the staff was welcoming and made it a fun experience. They share the history of the winery and wine details. Surprised to find out they have other things besides moscato, especially the vermouth.

We recently visited Quady Winery on our way to San Francisco for our flight home. The two ladies doing the tasting were super friendly and happy to have someone come in as it was quiet before our arrival.What we tried:Orange Muscat - This was really good!!Black Muscat - I really enjoyed this one the more that I sipped on it. My husband and I both agreed that we enjoyed the orange muscat more, but this was still a very good choice.Electra Moscato - this was a very good moscato, and my husband's favorite of the three moscato's.Red Electra Moscato - this was also another very good moscato, and my favorite of the three moscato's.Electra Moscato Rose - my least favorite wine of the day, but still a solid choice.Two wine slushies - my husband got one flavor and I got the other. We thought both were very good!Needless to say, we enjoyed all of their wines - we enjoy sweet wines.Now, here is where we had issues: We asked about shipping wines as we were flying back to NC with only carry-on luggage. They could ship to NC at a very reasonable rate, so I asked for the first four wines listed above. The lady helping us out properly put in everything - I double-checked behind her - the wines we were ordering and the address information. My husband asked about the tasting fee - could we pay together or do we need to do it separately? She mentioned she could put it together. We paid and went on our way. On our way to the airport, I received a call from the winery as they actually couldn't combine the wine to be shipped and the tasting. Instead, they would need to cancel the order and reorder of wines separately (frustration #1). We received our order and unfortunately received the electra moscato rose instead of the electra moscato - the reorder was not put in properly (frustration #2). I reached out to Quady, and they immediately got the correct wine to us.I wanted to point out this experience because while there was frustration with our ordering experience, Quady did not hesitate to make things right, turning this into ultimately a positive experience.I definitely recommend stopping by for a tasting if you are in the area and enjoy sweet wines. I look forward to having our wines at home and even making some of their suggested co*cktails with the muscats!

Merced NWR is a great place to visit in winter to see thousands of geese, ducks, ibises, and shorebirds. Also, there are rabbits all over the main entrance and throughout the refuge.

Great place for bird watching. Relaxing outdoor area.

Best refuge in the grasslands to draw a hunting reservation for, just not in mid November. Pretty sunrise and time with my son and dog watching cranes and other birds, just not ducks!

Quiet, interesting, lots of birds. Thousands of snow geese right now.

Every time I come here, it seems like there's fewer snow geese and cranes hanging about until the the fields get plowed. Then it becames a huge spectacle, however, that's when I tend to see the vans and tour buses arriving, or large caravans of cars who think they have the right of way and will literally cut me off as I'm entering the auto tour route. Pretty annoying. It's a special place during the winter migration. I just wish the rangers would be more present to manage the refuge during these busy times. Best times to visit are at sunrise and during the weekdays.

Pleasant drive with beautiful mountain views and plenty of nature sounds that took approximately an hour.

A bird lover and photographer’s heaven.There’s a car only loop that generally takes us about an hour to drive around oohing and aahing at the beautiful scenery, birds, or sunrise/sunset. Sometimes we drive through multiple times to try to see more.The diversity changes depending on the time of year you go.We’ve seen egrets, many ducks, plovers, grebes, kestrels, hawks, Sandhill cranes, geese, and many more. There are definitely great horned owls living nearby.

Maybe I went during the wrong time or season but there wasn't much to see besides some ducks and coots and other small birds. The only things that were most interesting to see were the cows towards the end of the trail and the fun facts posted all around. It was still a good fun first time experience.

I love coming here. A bit of nature that's easily accessible and just a short distance from the hustle and bustle of town.

Very quiet and peaceful. Not too many birds but it’s probably great in spring!The trails are very easy and boring. No wildlife on the trails. But it wasn’t crowded and it was a nice place to be leisurely.Only issue I had was apparently the park shares with the farmers pastures? I was run off the vehicle trail by a giant white farmers truck getting to his cows. Very rude and dangerous person.

This is good museum many wonderful aircraft from many era. Unfortunately, many need restoring. The museum continues to acquire aircraft but really need to get them indoors or at least covered. They have been working on this for years. They really need to get more help in money raising because this museum deserves more.The indoor portion of the museum is nice but needs help. Displays are not well thought out, missing explanations, and needs to look more professional.All in all, it is a good museum that just really needs more support.

Overall a good museum to visit for aircraft enthusiasts. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could for a few reasons. 1. It has a good number of aircraft but they are all mostly in need of repairs/paint or refurbishing and the displays/descriptions of each aircraft are in a lot of places in need of repairs or missing. 2. All aircraft are outdoors (no problem) but you just get to walk around them (not too up close to see some of the finer details with chains limiting access around them) and when I was there the sprinklers were on around some aircraft I wanted to check out thus limiting closer viewing. 3. It's a little pricey for what they have (@ the time, $25/adult $15/child, $20 veterans/seniors). If you're cruising down/up highway 99 and are looking to view some older aircraft, it's a decent museum.

Surprisingly great air museum! They have all the typical planes you would expect, but also a few rare ones, like the B-36 bomber, which only has 4 airframes currently in existence. While it wasn't too bad during the middle of the day, in summer, I'd suggest going in the morning or evening in summer and middle of the day during winter because most of the aircraft are stored outside. While they do have an active volunteer program, it looks like they could use a few more regulars, because some of their projects are progressing rather slowly and various little things could use a little more TLC, e.g. many co*ckpit windows are dirty on the inside.

I went to Castle Air Museum because it had the B-36 and SR-71 to view. On this particular day, they had open co*ckpit for most of the displays. The Blackbird had its co*ckpit to view. It took a while to see as they allowed 3 people at a time to go up the plane. One of the caretakers said that they will soon get the F-117 fighter/bomber for display. I will definitely comeback to see this. I just am not sure when that will take place, but will be checking up their website to be sure.

Loved it here. We had a lovely tour at the Presidential airplane, it was awesome. Then we enjoyed looking at all the aircrafts and the museum. If you love history this is the place for you.

Totally recommend, it has a issue with bees on some planes, son don't go with shorts or too sweet perfumes if you want to get close to the Peacemaker or so.Is really sunny, bring sunglasses and sunscreen.Is a big space, be prepared to walk.

Always a great time, my kids love this place! We go 3 or 4 times a year. Open co*ckpit day is amazing! The staff here is nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. Also I recommend the tour of the old Presidential plane. "Air Force One." However an aircraft is only designated Airforce One while the president is on board.

Fantastic outdoor display of Cold War era aviation and recently retired artifacts. Great indoor museum also, displaying the history of Castle and a good gift shop as well. Give yourself at least 2-3hours to see everything.

The cafe is super nice with a great selection of food and beverages. Bring a hat and water because it gets hot. Do not forget to visit the museum in the adjacent building. Nice place to visit, few hours needed. Great for kids education and aeronautical inspiration. Its mostly volunteer driven. Every staff was good. Customer Service staff, tour guide staff Mr. Reggie, Mr John. Glad learnt something new. Minimum 2 hrs needed for exterior viewing and inflight visit Plan for 3-6 hrs, if kids educational and 1-2 hours for self guiided tour only. Good merchandise too. Little expensive 20-30% more than expected, but volunteer based and lot of work to maintain the museum.

Wow-zer! It's been a few years since I've visited this place and I was happily surprised! Everything is on point! Excellent customer service! Clean and organized! Fantastic exhibits! There is even an adorable old fashioned type of snack bar. We had a BLAST! This is a must for locals and visitors alike! Even if you are not an airplane buff you will enjoy the history and nostalgia.

One of my great grandsons is very interested in airplanes and becoming a pilot. We thought he would enjoy walking through aviation history. The airplanes included examples of allied fighters, Army, Navy and Air Force. Planes used in WWII, Korean War and the Vietnam War. It highlighted planes and pilots who have broken multiple world records. A beautiful sight was the VC-9C, Air Force One, majestically displayed, including the high flying flag of our beautiful county USA. Admission to tour the inside are scheduled certain days, be sure and check before you go. I highly recommend visiting CAM. Our whole family enjoyed and will plan another visit.

Retired Aircrafts galore, be prepare to be awed, many can be viewed inside and talk with veterans whom have piloted and flown them, please allow 3 hours or more for ultimate enjoyment, i was deeply immersed in the histories and stories for every aircraft i was able to step in, we American are so lucky to have such display of the elite
